Perfect for what I needed to do!

Great for the countertops I’m making

Followed water to product ration instructions and it was way too thick. The bag says not to add more water because the product won’t be as strong; tried to add one additional cup of water but product dried up. This product was a waste of my money because I didn’t get to use much at all.

Mixes easily and quick dry, provides for a good feathered edge.

This product has been around forever. Mostly because its excellent at what it does. Short but steep learning curve. builtwithfoam.com

Product is good but the 7 lb. bag is too small.

Henry feather finish worked very well to level the OSB prior to tiling. It was just two small areas but with large format tile it was a necessary step. Easy to mix, Feather Finish has a short working time and dries quickly.

Works as advertised...used it to level seams and dips in sub floor.

Followed directions to use for leveling a wood subfloor. Very thick and hard to work with. I used two boxes for a coverage area of approximately 50 sq. ft. Dried very quickly, had to throw 1/2 of mixture away as it became too hard to work with. Will not use again!!

So easy to work with. Very pleased w/results. Mended cracked patio floor.

Worked as advertised, simple and straightforward. Used to full gaps on subfloor to prep for lvp.

Best and easiest product on the market in my opinion. Used it to patch floor to install laminate where tile once was!

I love this product. I watched some youtube videos first so avoided some common mistakes. Make very small batches! If it starts to look crumbly, just keep working it with your trowel and it will lay down smooth. Work quickly so you don’t waste any product. It’s so versatile and easy to use. I have an old bus with wooden floors I’m renovating into a tiny home. The floors were so sturdy I kept them in place, but I wanted to tile over them. So I used Feather Finish to fill in some uneven places and even some holes. I did about half the floor then moved on to other projects and waited to see how the Feather Finish held up. It worked so well and didn’t crack or crumble after extreme temperature changes, leaking rainwater, and lots of foot traffic. I even had a friend who weighs about 300lbs come over and it still didn’t crack. So now I’m finishing the rest of the floor. If I didn’t have the vision of the tiles, I could easily leave the floor as is with the Feather Finish, with a coat of Red Guard and paint, or just a sealer. I’ve seen people use Feather Finish in their bus builds as a countertop and in the shower. My only gripe is that the price has gone up so dramatically (2023). I paid $17 for it, but later when I needed one more, the price was $30. I checked in a nearby city and it was only $19. That’s on Home Depot, not the product. I recommend this for a variety of applications. Just youtube it first so you know how to work with it.

Easy to mix, just make sure you mix a small amount at a time. Used it over formica and wood to create a cement countertop. Advise, when you sand, cover the area as much as you can, or you will have cement dust sticking to everything !

The product mix is very thick if you follow the directions and it very specifically says don’t add more water to it but that would work better. It dried so quickly it was almost impossible to work with. I ended up having to belt sand down high spots, and then shim with other material anyway.
