It took a little bit to get the wires where they needed to go but eventually everything went together and the hanging pendant lights are a great addition to the track lighting.

Its a cheap piece of plastic, Garbage

Ths item is shown on the Home Depot website as being compatible with the Hampton Bay Flex Track, but it is not compatitable! The size and shape of the hole that the track is supposed to go through is wrong. I talked with Home Depot personnel at 2 stores, but they didn't know anything about the product and weren't able to help. I am out over $100 for a track and pendents that don't work together. I would love to get some pendants that work with the track.

Worked great. There is very little room to make the connections, but a needle nosed pliers and a very small screwdriver really helps.

They work, but since I ordered the black track from Hampton Bay you would think they had the matching adapter. Nope, I had to spray paint them. Also not easy getting the wires into the small spaces because of the way they need to be fed into the ports.

I purchased three of these to use on the 7703SV flex track, they do not fit, not even close. Nowhere does Hampton Bay or Home Depot provide compatibility info. So I have three expensive pendant fixtures I am not able to install, will return these adapters and figure out if an adapter even exists for the 10ft of flex track I purchased.

Securing the electric wire is tedious otherwise it is a good product.

Unless you know what you are doing this could be a little confusing when attaching pendant light.

Terribly disappointed with poor quality. I've had to reorder 5 times to get one that would work . Design should not allow use of plastic material that is too weak. This part is only available on-line but you can return defective ones to your local store. In order to hang a pendant you can only use this part. I would order 5 next time find one that works then return the rest.

The description of the pendant being brushed steel is bogus. The pendent is a silver colored plastic!

Nothing was given, in the online information, to indicate which track was to be used with this product. This was a Home Depot problem.

This product is very poorly designed. Very difficult to attach wires from pendant fixture. Requires the fingers of a very small person. Fortunately I had a very competent person to help with this assembly. Would be very difficult for the average homeowner to do on their own.While it works I could not really recommend it.

Had to order this online since they don't sell it in the store. Also had to get this color and spray paint it once it came, since it isn't available in antique bronze that we needed. Overall it's exactly what it's supposed to be. Didn't have any install problems and the light work great. Just had a disappointing shopping experience.

It was very easy to convert a standard pendant light to work with my track light. The results look great!

This adapter is good for adding a non system pendant light to this track. I didn't need it to drop way down so my wire comes out of the fixture & goes directly into the adapter. Easy enough to work with if you are comfortable in tight places with wiring. I also spray painted it black with ease.

works and looks great. The only downside is the area where you attach the pendant light to the adapter is a little tight, so be careful what pendants you attach to it

I bought a starter track from Home Depot because we wanted pendant lights. As the starter does not come with adaptors, I bought these as the description stated, fits all HB flex tracks. They do not. The track mounts are narrower than the new track and the ground wire is in the wrong place. I had to widen the adaptor for the track, bend the power contacts to touch the track contacts and move the ground from the back of the adaptor to contact the track ground contact. This is not a project for a novice. I tried to reach out to Hampton Bay, but like everyone else who tried to contact the company, no response.

For those who wish to add some hanging lights to their flexible track, this worked fine. Like this entire setup, the instructions always leave much to be desired. But, with considerable electrical experience, I was able to figure out the retaining clip that adjusts the cord length. This would work better if the clip had a thumb screw or similar adjustment. Getting the two cord lengths exactly the same so that the two lamps are at the same height is nearly impossible, so be artistic and put them at different heights!!

This bronze colored attachment was able to take a standard pendant light and make it into a pendant for a track light, which helped open the door for more options when selecting lights. The installation was fairly straightforward, but what should be noted is the adapted is designed for lights on a wire, not pole. We had purchased lights on a pole and made it work with some bronze electrical tape, but it would have been nice to either know this ahead of time or have an attachment to use the pole support. I think this adapted could be made better if the bracket holding the wires inside was attached to the adapter as opposed to just floating inside. I also think adding an option to attach a pole pendant light would be beneficial. The only other con was this had to be ordered. Since the tracks are sold in stores it would be nice to have this adapter with the lights that are being sold. Overall, if the pole support option was added, I don't know why anyone would choose the flexible lighting since it offers so much customization.

Unfortunately,Home depot does not carry pennant lights for the flex tracking lighting. We were able to buy the pennant lights for the straight track lighting system, and replace the ends to suit our track. They were shipped within 3 days. Super quick.

Works as advertised, used after-market hanging lights. A little hard to wire, due to a tight fit. I ordered one extra and it was a good thing, since one had come un-soldiered and is worthless. Cheap construction, but if you are careful, they will work fine,,,

This product was not what I needed. The web site was unclear how to use the product. The pictures did not give you a good feel what the product was.

We updated old track lighting with a contemporary track and converted pendant lights to hang from contemporary track. It was so simple. measured the length, cut cord, stripped the wires, threaded the wires, tightened the screws. All four pendants worked first try! LOVE my new updated kitchen!
