A:  No, this is a pendant adapter. It allows you to add a wire hung pendant (utilizing a max diameter of .25 inch supply wire) to a flexible track system.

A:  No. You’ll use the wiring that comes with the light that you choose. What you see in the pic is what you get.

A:  No, a pendant light is a separate purchase that will have its own wire, bulb socket, and decorative shade. Home Depot sells these and you can pick out the style you like. The adapter has screw terminals inside to accept the wires from the pendant light. Unfortunately for me, and probably many others, the adapter was not physically compatible with my Hampton Bay track lights already installed. It looked correct based on pictures and description, but was different enough that I couldn’t use it. It was a waste of money/time and personally Home Depot shouldn’t sell it without also selling the compatible track. Hampton Bay also didn’t provide compatibility info on their website. You’re better off getting a track light set that comes with pendants at the start. Good luck!

A:  If it’s compatible with the track, mine wasn’t, it will extend about 2-3 inches below.

A:  I think it came with 10 feet of cord but I cut off all but three feet. My ceiling is ten feet and hangs over my counter height eating area.
