Bad Design or Defect
The wall plate and lamp cage are not parallel to each other, which causes the lamp to hang at an angle away from the wall. Looks even worse if it'in s mounted on lap siding. Tried three of these - were all the same. Finally bought a different fixture.

NOT WHITE!! It is sand/off white
Caution to those expecting WHITE fixture!!! Bought 2 for each side of door to see if we would like them. They are pretty, BUT NOT WHITE! Obviously the China men dont understand White VS Sandy/off white!
Also if using these on your vinyl siding you will need to turn the light mounting block long ways for proper fit
