No on switch. Poor design and craftsmanship.

For those of you who are frustrated by no assembly instructions there is a video for this right with the pictures above. Better than written instructions.

The mechanism for securing the lam to the clamp is useless. I can only assume that the manufacturer never tested it.

does not get as hot as I would have liked. Was hoping to melt snow off snow blower in shed, it does works but need something with more heat as it takes way to long to accomplish what I want it for

Works great pretty much bulletproof, running strong and hasnt failed me.

They were right size but no instructions on how to put together. Also it does not stay in position just falls down. So annoying

Sturdy, well made, clamp holds well, heavy gauge wire cord about 48" long (+-). Ceramic bulb fixture.

The person that designed the clamp on these should be fired. You have to tighten the wing nut on the clamp with pliers and get it very tight on the light will just flop over. The clamp to light attachment bracket is a joke.

First of all, the method of "securing" the clamp to the lamp is extremely cheap and cheese. You better tighten the wing nut with pliers as tight as you can get it, and then, hope that it holds. Also, mine did not come with the little protection bars or whatever. Thanks again, Home Depot

Kept my attic "warm" through the 2021 freeze; in other words, my hot water heater made it. The light was shining on it!

there are several reviews that talk about the clamp assembly and the poor design and manufacture. in short you cant tighten the wing nut to hold the lamp where you want it to point. as a hanging light it might be ok but as a clamp on light it is a failure. it'll be returned tomorrow

Terrible Clamp Mounting Does Not Fit Lamp The lamp itself is very heavy duty with a loop at the back for hanging, which seems pretty sturdy. The deal killer here is the included clamp. First, the 2 halves that clamp around the socket are too small to actually fit around the socket. If you can get past that, the other side of the clamp is designed to grip a knurled ball, like a standard ball-and-socked assembly, but instead of a ball on the clamp, it's a knurled rod which also doesn't fit the clamp. After some fiddling I managed to get it together, but the screw and wingnut for tightening stripped out before it ever got tight enough to even stay on the lamp! The spring-loaded "grip" (or mounting clamp, if you will) isn't as described or shown. What's included is a cheaper version that does not fit and does not work. I needed this to be a "clamp lamp" but it doesn't clamp, therefore it is useless. I'm returning for a refund immediately.

Used this for a plant light...does what it should and very sturdy

It's what I wanted, but there are pieces that I don't know what to do with. No instructions either. Still clamps. Softer/more easily bent metal than I expected, but it's just being used to keep my plants alive over winter, so not a deal breaker.

This is poorly engineered junk from China. It works but only after I made a couple modifications. For one, the pan is about as flimsy as an aluminum beer can. The worst part was the screw and wing nut assembly that tightens the grips to the clamp. The screw has a square shank that is supposed to be captured by a square hole so that it doesn't turn when you tighten the wing nut. They punched the square hole too big so it just spins. I had to buy a pan head screw so I could keep it from turning. It works and I guess that's all I need but i would rather pay more for something that did not have to be rigged.

Seems i bought brand new lamp that was so poorly designed they didnt even put the correct parts in box. I have a lamp part and a clamp part that font match up
