the faucet was easy to assemble. i wasn't sure at first of whether the plate was mandatory, but a friend explained that it was only an option.

The only issue is that the stream pressure coming out is not very strong. Knowing nothing about plumbing, it's time to call the plumber back.

Beautiful finish
I opened the packaging on the Glacier Bay Hemming Traditional Farm Single Handle Pull Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Rubbed Bronze and at first glance the style and color combination caught my eye immediately. The extension end fits nicely into the faucet and is easy to pull out and return to the base. On the wand, The spray pattern is laid out well for a large spray area for efficient coverage. Apiece of art meets function.

Leaks
I was excited to purchase this item because it matches the decor. However, after installation discovered a leak where the hose meets the faucet head. Nothing I can do.

Chrome Kitchen Faucet
The Chrome finish on this kitchen faucet is easy to match with other kitchen appliances or accessories. The “traditional farm” handle is unpretentious and functional. It allows one-handed control over the water temperature and flow. The spray hose retracts entirely into the faucet and becomes the faucet spout. It comes with all the pieces, including an optional plate for a 3-hole sink, and do-it-yourself installation is Home-Depot easy. (FYI: Glacier Bay products are manufactured to Home Depot's specifications because it is their in-house brand.)
