Beautiful design with beautiful lighting finishes quality and events are quiet

I is a beautiful fan and works just like a smart appliance should.

This 36” hood looks great and works great. There are two light settings and four blower settings plus a memory function. Ours is vented to the outside. We installed it ourselves, which was a bit tricky, but ok with two people.

Very sturdy abs nice looking range hood. The fan and lights are both powerful !! Easy to affix above your range

I like the easy to use controls and multiple speeds of the fan and the various lightkng settings.

Love the way it looks and performs. Fan works well and is not too noisy. LED lights instead of halogens would have been nice

We bought a new home and were able to design our kitchen. Decided to pick this hood because it’s design and to match our 36’ stove , it really looks great . The main issue is the noice when fan is on , it would be nice if GE use a less noisy motor, other than that we really like it

After a long research, my wife bought this hood despite my warning about the damper problem that I learned from my own research. The hood is nice design, powerful fan, good lighting, simple to use ... poor quality vent damper. Yes, the damper hinges are made from the same soft aluminum sheet that failed after a year or so of usage. Luckily, it escaped the fan when falling down otherwise the motor and case would be further damaged. It cost a lot to put it and now it would cost a lot more to repair due to the location. I've had many GE Profile appliances before but I'm now thinking about something else. For this hood, I'll probably yank it out and replace with a different brand because I will have to face the same problem maybe another year from now.

Works well and lights are easy to use. Vents our gas stove well.

Powerful exhaust vent hood, so far works great. Bright light, covers the whole cook top surface. Like the sleek design, looks great for my kitchen remodel.

Controller Controller panel failed—apparently a common problem. and Assurant warranty team said the replacement part is not acailable

I am very disappointed in a supposed "high end" Profile product failing in 1.5 years. I had much better expectations for paying "extra" for GE products

This wall vent was the top choice among my 3 daughters, not only is it beautiful< i love the memory button, all controls go back to the last settings you've used!

This is a first for us. We had a recycle hood on every stove/oven before. We went through a remodel and punched a hole in the roof so that the air is totally rememoved. We were pleasently surprised at how quiet it was on low, and out much grease is captured in the screen. We make it a point to remove the screen once a week and have it washed in our GE dishwasher. Definitely a plus to our kitchen.

Easy to use and maintain, easy filter change and clean

After reading many complaints about the loud noises with the GE Profile 30in hood. Why hasn’t there been a fix creating a satisfied customer solution. I’ve decided not to purchase this item. Honestly, my wife and I really wanted all are appliances to match. We’ve already purchased your GE Profile largest fridge, double-oven & most expensive dishwasher including warranties. I’m now looking for an alternative wall hood. It’s unfortunate! I rely heavily on reviews before purchasing. Trust me!

Bought this GE Profile as part of new home construction kitchen. Would have preferred the entire 36 inches roof space to be used for suction, only the middle one foot area is open to fan, there are no lights in this dead space either, don't understand this design. Upset that the damper flap broke off after a a year and half because of poor hinge design and it fell into the suction space. One of the motor blades got damaged because of aluminum flap falling in its path. Cost a lot more to fix it.

My unit is relatively new. It as completely stopped working. I saw where another customer stated "the open/close flap can falls on the motor when vent fan is on causing motor to burn and die."

Very Quiet and lights were very bright. I would recommend this product.

The best thing about this hood is the way it looks. The fan works well and the lighting doesn't miss an inch of the range. I do wish the night light was a lot dimmer.

I can’t use it because it’s so noisy, even using the low setting. It’s a nice looking appliance, but that’s it.

We love the sleek look of this, but it sounds like a jet engine on the highest setting. Even the low and medium seem louder than any vent hood I've had over the years. We also have a high ceiling, so expect a seam where the chimney extension goes.
