Durable Multi-tap Outlet
This is a durable multiple outlet - purchased it to replace one that is used frequently in garage. After >10 years, the lugs finally started to get loose and not hold the extension cord connector so replaced w/same item.

Selected this one to replace a conventional 6-way outlet that we have with a few items having the larger plugs - which covered part of the adjoining receptacles - making for reduced capacity. Now we don't have to unplug one or two, to use all six, which is great.

This adapter allowed me to plug in all the items in my basement (sump pump, water softener, tankless hot water, and radon system fan) while still having outlets available for regular use. Really like the extra space between each outlet, allowing me to plug in regular plugs as well as plug adapters. Easy to use: just plug into existing wall plug - no disassembly required. The built in GFI is handy, too. Would have given 5 stars, except no provision (screw) to make it permanent by screwing into existing outlet.

It works well. It plugs into both wall outlets. The top 3 outlets on this thing are connected to the top wall outlet, and the bottom 3 are connected to the bottom outlet. This could be important if one of the wall outlets is controlled by a switch,
It comes with a long screw so you can remove the cover plate on the wall outlet and screw this one to the wall. I didn't bother.

My choice was mainly for the anchor screw in the center, which many such outlet-multipliers lack, since it is for my garage shop bench where tools will be plugged & unplugged a lot and a freezer is also plugged in, so preventing the unit from coming unplugged is imperative. The angle of the side outlets helps with cord management too.

This does not need two sets of plugs on the back, it just needs the one set of plugs and you can use the screw for additional stability, but it is not necessary.

Had trouble with oxygen machine tripping circut breaker. Installed GE outlet breaker but it didn’t work. Machine still tripped breaker in pannel box. Machine works fine, but now on different circut.
