Right now, I am not sure with this product. We have not had it operating for more than 10 days so I cannot say with certainty what I think about it yet. I am having some problems with the settings and timer. The upper door is not fully closing and I do not know if this is an issue with the installation or the oven itself. It was such a pain to have it measured, and installed, if it has to be replaced, it will be a real headache. I am attaching pictures so that you will understand what I am talking about.
On a positive note, because we did have to have an installer come measure before we ordered the oven, and the oven increased significantly in price during that period, the original price was honored and it was really due to a woman in the tool section overhearing my husband and I discussing the situation and she graciously went out of her way to assist - so way to go Home Depot!

Black Double Oven
I love to bake but have never had a double oven. It is wonderful to bake cookies and be able to use both ovens at the same time. I don't have to think about different things baking at different temperatures, for dinner. The features are easy to use.

Basic oven features
It’s a bottom of the line oven but I needed to replace my 30-year old GE oven that was in perfect working condition but the keypad was beeping. So I had a smaller odd dimension that required this particular double oven.
It’s basic, takes forever to reach desired temperature takes forever to cool down with noisy fan for like 40 minutes.
It has a delay start timer but not a cook timer so why on earth would that be helpful?? The exact same model for single wall oven however has this important feature.
Not recommended UNLESS you have no other choice.

Easy Controls, Superb Baking
Bought this Double 27 inch oven to replace an old 24" gas oven. Have used both ovens and love that the controls are very easy to use and it cooks so much better that the 8 year old gas oven it replaced. Purchased this as a gift for Christmas to my wife since she is the one that does all the family baking. She loves it and couldn't be happier how all the cakes, cookies and dinners have turned out! Just need the cabinet maker to bring in the new trim pieces.

I just had the beautiful GE double oven installed today. One hour later tried to Bake in it and ...
I just had the beautiful GE double oven installed today. One hour later tried to Bake in it and after getting to about 450 it started beeping constantly and would not stop beeping. It shows the F97 Error Code and will not stop the loud beeping. I called GE and they are coming out to my house as soon as they are available - in 5 days. I hope they can fix it permanently!

Please disconnect power to the wall oven via the main power supply (normally circuit breaker) for a few minutes to reset the control panel. So much room for a 27"!
I've only had this double oven for about 1 month. It is in the space that my old oven combination with a microwave on top was in previously. We had to do slight modifications to make it fit. I cannot believe how much larger the interior of the oven is compared to my old oven from 1989. They are both 27 inch ovens. The only slight negative comment i have is it fingerprints very easily. The front finish is gorgeous and looks like black glass. I am absolutely in love with cooking and being able to fit multiple items in one oven let alone having the double oven. Time for some serious baking. And the convection on the upper oven seems to cook everything evenly.

New oven
I absolutely loved my old GE oven. This new oven does not bake the same. My cookies I have been baking for years now come out flat. This new oven takes much longer to preheat, 25 minutes. I had to purchase an oven thermometer because when the oven says it is preheated, the thermometer says it is not preheated ready, by 50 degrees. I have tried the convection only once and my cookies were still raw when they should have been ready.

Gas and electric ovens will cycle on and off throughout the cycle to maintain the set temperature. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to heat and will then cycle off again once it is higher than the set temperature. The goal is to maintain an average set temperature, but you will see a normal swing in temperatures throughout the cycle. This is typical of ovens, and is factored into how recipes are created and used.
The amount the oven will cycle (either higher or lower than the set temperature) will vary, and each individual unit can be different. While we cannot provide exact temperature fluctuation ranges or variance, temperatures may vary from the set temperature by + 30 degrees to – 30 degrees. The temperature swing can also vary by how and where you are measuring the temperature in the oven, room temperature, door openings, etc.

Great Wall oven

Cheap oven racks fit poorly
The oven racks are very difficult to pull out. You need to pull, jjiggle and they still scrape against the sides of the ovens.

A little dissapointed
I hope that in the future you will make a wall oven with both ovens having convection included in both ovens. When using the light feature, both ovens light when only one oven is in use. It seems to be a waste of energy to light both ovens when only one of the ovens is in use. The thickness of the paint on the racks seems to be thin as if it only got one coat of paint. I hope that I am mistaken. The quality seems to be less than the quality that I normally encounter with the other GE products I have been using for years in my kitchen. The timer sound is very light therefore I have to set an additional kitchen timer. I wish my review was better, but I will give it some more time and hopefully those will be my only complaints. I am usually very happy with my GE products.

Great Oven, But Deeper Dimension Than Expected
I love the double oven! My only complaint is that they extended the back of the cabinet such that the power cable is now on the outside of the cabinet rather than integrated into the back of the unit, which meant that the depth has been extended from previous models and therefore required more work for it to fit. I had to wind up extending the power cabling into the hole and connecting it to a junction box in the ceiling. I thought that ALL 27" models were standard, but the newer ones (replacing an original model that was 30 years old) do not properly fit in the hole where the other unit was. It required more work, but ultimately I am pleased.

Beware
It's a piece of crap. Had it 6 days and the bottom light would not go off. Then the control panel lights would not turn off. Then the bottom oven stopped working (....thinks the door is 'open').

Great Oven Light and Windows, 30 A Breaker Works
Replaced a Kitchen Aid from 1993, which had a 30 A breaker and wiring. GE was the only modern oven that is still 30 A. Others are 40 A. So there was only one choice, but it was a great choice. I love the oven. It's much larger inside than the old Kitchen Aid. Looks fantastic too. Works great. LOVE the oven light and the large windows--you can actually see what's going on inside ovens without opening door.
