didn't use them for a door threshold but they worked great for what i used them for. i mounted them up-side-down to keep a timber frame leg off the ground. this worked perfectly.

Excellent for may needs
Needed to replace the threshold on an OLD walk-in freezer. This was the perfect height and the piece is very sturdy. It should last as long as I am around.
