Thin tape with foil. The adhesive is inferior and ruined the overall use of wrapping cold pipes.

Easy to apply and did what I needed to wrap vent pipe in attic to prevent sweating/condensation.

Used this foam and foil product to repair gaps in the rubber insulation around HVAC pipes. Worked well.

For insulating refrigerant lines, this product is a horrible choice. The adhesive is very weak and will not stick to anything. I was covering exposed lines behind a mini split from previous owners. I made sure the lines were clean and dry, and the tape wouldn't stick at all. Try Armaflex 2-in. R-1 foam insulation tape, it works like a charm.

The adhesive on this tape is weak. The tape doesn't stick to copper pipe or itself. I had to supplement it with construction adhesive purchased separately.

I put electric heat tape on an outside water pipe and wrapped it using the foam foil tape. It was 6 degrees and wind was 35 mph. The foil tape worked perfect to keep the water pipe from freezing.

Needed this to help insulate my outdoor pipes. Worked well! No issues !

I found the tape difficult to use. It tore easily, did not stick very well, and the metal edging cut my fingers. I wrapped an elastic bandage over the tape when I finished using the tape to help hold it in place.

Useless, don't buy it. I tried wrapping around copper pipes and it will not stick/come loose. I ended up returning for full refund.

Glad I bought this to help winterize pipes.
