Needed extra space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to place in my basement to have extra refrigerator and freezer space. It worked perfectly storing extra food that I bought for a recent party. I am happy with it so far. The only feature that could be improved is having extra shelves. There are no shelves in the freezer and only 2 in the refrigerator.

Oh my! Most new refrigerators are designed to save energy, donpowers. These refrigerators are equipped with low energy consumption fans and compressors. The modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. These refrigerators will run most of the time and only stop when a defrost cycle is needed to thaw ice buildup in the freezer. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. Very well built unit. Good door seals, easy access temperature controls for the freezer and refrigerator sections. Easy to adjust for level. Access for cleaning underneath and behind the unit is easy to obtain. Compact unit allows for installation in limited spaces, and operates quietly and effectively.

We received the fridge 3 weeks ago and it did not work. Light and fan worked but it did not cool...
We received the fridge 3 weeks ago and it did not work. Light and fan worked but it did not cool. I am still waiting for them to pick up the broken one (which has been sitting in my living room for 3 weeks) We could not get a new dropped off for 3 weeks so we went to Menards and picked up one ourselves. Tried to get a couple of managers to help but they just said that is the way their delivery system works. I told them this was not acceptable!

This is a great little fridge, and it looks good...
This is a great little fridge, and it looks good too. Note: only the front of the fridge is stainless steel, the sides are black. This is perfect size for me and my husband. The guys who delivered and installed were courteous and quick and definitely knew what they were doing.

They had to come out after delivery and actually tilt the refrigerator so it is leaning backwards...
They had to come out after delivery and actually tilt the refrigerator so it is leaning backwards to keep the freezer door closed. Was told not to put hardly anything in the freezer door or it can open and stay open. I would not buy this again. The back, bottom of the refrigerator is actually cardboard. This is not a good purchase for any price.

Hey there, Kathy! It is recommended in the installation instructions to tilt the refrigerator 1/4" from front to back for proper door closure, so it sounds like the installation was done properly. You should, however, be able to utilize the space in the freezer door. If using the freezer door poses and problems, please contact us directly for additional assistance. ~ Brandi
