I purchased this wax seal due to an issue with...
I purchased this wax seal due to an issue with the one that was leaking on the toilet. The wax split horizontally on installation. I will not rule out an installation error that caused the malfunction but the toilet continued to leak. Had to go back to the store and ended up using a waxless which had been great and no leaks.

A reinforced wax ring uses a nylon pr plastic ring in the center of the wax to prevent the wax from splitting. Fluidmaster would like to learn more about this issue and provide help. bolts twisted in the collar slot. Not acceptable. Had to purchase non locking nuts to tighten bolt prior using the locking nuts

The wax kit comes equipped with two locking washers that will lock the bolts to the "Eye" slot on the floor flange which should allow you to thread the nuts on easily to the bolt. A simple solution is to hold the bolt at its tip and turn the nut until it is hand tight.
