I have used a full 20lb cylinder to fill 3, 1lb cylinders so far and it worked very well. Watch the video on the Flame King site and follow the instructions. When assembled the stand is sturdier than I thought it would be. The full 20lb tank was steady. Each 1lb cylinder came with its own allen wrench. Using the cylinders is no different than the disposable variety. The only criticism I have is to mold a channel into the plastic cylinder covers to store the allen wrench. I could see the benefit of keeping the wrench with the cylinder and a refill can be accomplished without searching for the small tool. It could even be molded into the stand. I will leave it with the fill adapter but would worry about losing it if i was using it away from home or at a campsite.

Exactly what I needed. Safe and designed to be refilled bottles and positive control valve.

Something broke while connected and emptied a new 5 gallon tank of propane. Good idea but poorly made. Glad we didn't have the grill going at the time.

Such a brilliant idea to make these type of cylinders. I go camping and hunting all the time and go through 1lb cylinders like water. NO MORE! Great value at that price point as well!
