When it comes to things like liquid propane, SAFETY IS NUMBER 1. I was using an inexpensive adapter that allowed me to refill my old 1 lb propane tanks, but if you read the labeling on those popular dark green tanks, you will see that it is actually illegal to refill. While it is not illegal for you to refill, it most certainly is for your local liquid propane vendor (E.g., think small town hardware shops). I bought this kit for peace of mind, ease of use (it really is!) and a GREAT PRICE!

The product works great. Super easy to put the stand together. Filling the reusable bottles was simple. It appears the cooking flame stays big and hot all the way till the bottle is empty. The non refillable bottles always leave some gas in the bottles.

This is an excellent product for your portable devices. It is easily refilled requiring a separate allen wrench. The requirement of a separate tool is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

This is just what I was looking for. The setup and ease of use makes this a great way to save money on 1 pound LP tanks. It also saves the landfill from the old tanks, a win win.

What a great product! Most of my outdoor living area is hard plumbed for propane heaters but I needed one heater to be portable and I have to use the 1 pound bottles. I feel so much better knowing I’m not filling the landfills with old empty bottles.

Seems to be all working. Filled all three bottles with no issue/leakage. These are great because the throw away don't get recycled and it seems so wasteful to put into landfill(not supposed to be put in landfill either) each time

Safest way to refill 1lb propane tank. Unlike Coleman green tanks, Flame King cans are DOT approved, built to be refilled 100s of times, better quality valve and thicker steel shell.

pretty easy to fill. if i stop filling when liquid just starts to spit out i get about 14.5, if i wait to get full stream liquid i end up with 16.0. i have 5 sixteen oz bottles now so as not to waste propane during fill i stop at the 14.5ish level. i took some old hard drives apart to pull the magnets out and use them to attach the allen wrench to their individual bottle.

Works great and refilling was a lot easier because didn't have to use a weighing scale to make sure am within the safe limits

Awesome to fill your own for less than 1/4 the price of new Coleman bottles! As an added bonus, we can top off a partial bottle and always start a trip full up. No more need to carry a spare AND backup to the spare! Easy to use, pays for itself quickly… what’s not to love!

One of the three cylinders would not hold propane and gas vented out wasting my money.
