Duh, it's just a T-nut. It's hard to get excited. The threads screwed onto a bolt as expected. The prongs poked into the wood when I hit it with a hammer and it stayed put.

yes, when needed this is an invaluable fastener. Seems well made and threads screw smoothly. For strenght & longevity, I prefer these to the nylon threaded inserts .

Easily strip out and do not catch onto the wood as projected. Would recommend finding something similar to use instead of this.

They were easy to install in MDF. They provided a good threads That won’t strip out.

Very effective, easy to use. People should know these need to go on the inside of the piece you’re working with for it to work. Meaning the bolt should go into the long arm of the nut and pull it into the wood from the opposite side of the anchor

Inventory levels & location found on-line are in error, making it difficult to locate in the store's hardware aisle. The product itself is fine, installs easily and works as designed & expected.

I am well pleased with product overall quality and finish is super easy to install treads are fine and allows threaded rods go in smoothly cost per pack is super affordable.

I have used these bolts often. Be sure that the "teeth" are set before you start tightening - i sometimes hammer them in while I have the bolt hand tight. Otherwise the teeth may not grab and you will spin the unit thus flattening the teeth, which renders it almost useless - especially true if you are using a drill driver to tighten the bolt. The zinc coated finish gives some protection from the elements; however if you want that "bling" look, get the special order, gold plated version - really makes the project pop!
