This product is garbage. The rubber gasket gets stuck in the closed position and has to be completely temoved to reset. If you close it even sloghtly too much, the problem starts all over again. Spend the extra $10 and buy a better product

I purchased one of these yesterday and when the valve is open it leaks from around the stem. I tightened the nut at the bottom of the valve, but it did not help. I am also experiencing low flow through my hose.

This worked perfectly for my installation. Removed the bad valve and slid this through the same opening. Installed a 1/2" pex x MPT adapter and connected to existing plumbing. Used the 2 provided mounting holes to fasten to the house.

I bought one of these for every exterior hose bib location on my house. The one in my back yard is used quite often to fill my hot tub and a small pond. Due to the location of the hose bib under a deck I have a long hose I leave connected during the months where freezing isn’t an issue. I will wake up to the sound of running water and see that the “Anti siphon” feature is blowing water everywhere for god knows how long. Have to go under the deck to shut the valve off to get it to stop. Additionally there is a VERY LOW FLOW. When watering plants with one of those “Shower wands” there isn’t enough pressure to create the desired shower effect and the water just pours out in a stream. Very dissatisfied with this product and the labor to replace it is worth ten times the purchase price. Shutting the water off from the street, climbing around under the house with the dust and the spiders. This is a job you only want to have to do ONCE. Going to throw these crappy valves in the trash and get some with good flow and don’t leak.

I like the spring loaded shutoff. Unfortunately, after I installed it, the shaft was bent, making the handle do a figure 8. Apparently, the unit was dropped and bent the shaft. Fortunately, it does not affect the faucet.

I bought several of these 3 years ago and all have leaked and have now been replaced. At the cost of hundreds of dollars and many hours of painful labor. Also, the one from Loeeewes is junk. For this you just need to suck it up and put in a quality product that costs twice as much

Junk, walk away, the threads are not turned correctly. Messed up my female connection and will have to soldier a new one in. Just threw this in the garbage where it belongs.

I bought one of these in the 6" length about a year ago and installed it on the side of my garage as a new hose outlet. Last week I was sitting in my office (mind you this is end of August) working from home and I heard water running, so after hunting around a bit I found that the anti siphon valve on the sillcock had failed. It was spraying water all over the side of my house. Luckily I was home and it only sprayed for a few minutes until I found it and shut it off. Turns out the plunger had failed. I have seen people complain about this before, so hopefully it is fixable. @Everbilt, how do I get replacement parts?!

My old spigot was shot. I measured that the pipe connection needed to be 8". This one worked perfectly.

DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER EVERBILT ANTI-SIPHON SILLCOCK. Two of the plungers have failed within 4 weeks. I shudder to think what my water bill will be. Will Everbilt pay for my huge water bill? All three are going to be pulled out and returned this weekend. Horror show.

Easy to install. I’m pretty sure it’ll hold up well during the winter of course like all exposed plumbing it’s good to cover during winter time will tell

Just had the valve completely fail where the faucet is unusable and cant turn on without blowing water all over the place and cant turn off. Installed this probably 3 years ago where the last one lasted 17+ years and even then was just dribbling water out the handle. Unbelievable. Yeah as some of the other reviewers here have said, dont buy this brand.
