Worst sink I ever bought ,expensive and gets scratched with anything.

Beautiful and neat!

I had this sink installed with a new countertop in my kitchen, I like the size and depth, if only the sink with drain ! Water and food particles get left behind because of poor pitch of the drain hole. Home depot chose this sink for me as part of my countertop install project and if I had only know this would be a problem, I would not have chosen this sink. I even had the countertop company come and look at the leveling to make sure it that wasn't the problem, which it wasn't.

I purchased this sink in July and within a week it had cloudy stains and scratches all over it. Since the first scratch, I am VERY careful with the sink and even tell guests to be gentle or leave their plates on the counter. I clean it with barkeepers friend and I’ve even refinished it (using the directions on their website) but there is no way to keep this sink looking decent. I’ve given up. I reached out to the manufacturer and all they offered was a grid for the bottom of the sink (which does nothing for the damage that is already done.) DO NOT buy this sink, especially if you are bothered by stains and scratches. It doesn’t matter how careful you are, normal daily use (I am a single person with no kids) will look like you’ve been throwing shards of metal and glass in the basin.

1 week of use RUSTY spots. Leave a pot in the sink for the next day you will have a stain in your sink. Reusable straw also left a mark, travel coffee cup, sponge holder. You can't leave anything metal in it for overnight. Really bad quality.

PLEASE STAY AWAY Don’t waits your money and ruin you kitchen, scratch very easy,

As other reviewers noted the Crosstown Elkay sink is poor quality stainless. Easily scratches (doesn’t include a rack). Also water stains are clearly visible. The Crosstown line doesn’t utilize the Elkay repair kits for stainless polishing and repair. They recommend sandpaper and wet sanding with the grain! Check out other stainless models that are condusive to the Elkay repair kit for stainless care or look at another company. Home Depot needs to pull this line from their inventory ASAP. It is disappointing that the sink is beautiful but it’s not durable and scratches way too easily. I had no choice and was stuck keeping it because the contractor couldn’t come another day to install another sink for me. And I don’t cook a lot which means less dishes to clean and I notice it scratches way too easily regardless even with little use . I had my kitchen remodeled and it’s a shame that I have a new sink that Can’t look as beautiful as it should because of the scratches. A sink should be made durable and scratch resistant but this one is too delicate . I wish there was a way to remove the scratches. I guarantee you I am not the only customer with this issue so that being said the manufacture should include some kind of polisher kit to remove the scratches. It’s not worth the money if the quality of it is not there due to the sink looking all scratched up immediately.. I’m definitely not a happy customer. Plus it’s stains so easily with watermarks and I have to dry the sink with a microfiber towel every time I get the sink wet.

this is a beautiful sink, elegant lines, perfect size -we loved it in the store and it looked perfect once installed in our brand new kitchen. however, it has 2 fatal flaws. within less than 1 week, it was all scratched up, from minor use (nothing out of the ordinary). wish we had read the reviews before buying, as that seems as a very common problem. i couldn't help but notice one of the responses from customer service, that basically said "don't worry, it will scratch more and will be less noticeable" (imagine if your doctor said, don't worry, you'll get much sicker you won't even notice this). we were forced to buy a grid. the second is the pitch does not allow adequate drainage, so food particles tend to accumulate on the bottom. we sorely wish we had a different sink - would not recommend.

FABULOUS SINK! Professionally installed with a new quartz countertop.

I had this installed with my new countertop. The professional installers took the time to level it, seal it and support it from below. The sink does it's job very well, no water has fallen on.the cabinet floor below it. My biggest pan and casserole dish fit in it. The sleek, square look makes it appear larger than any of the others I looked at. And the stainless steel.will clean easier than my previous sink.

This will sound like a broken record, but I wish I spent some time reading some reviews before blindly buying a "respected" brand sink such as Elkay. We finally got our flooded house repaired and placed the beautiful new sink in our brand new kitchen. After a couple of days the sink is scratched like someone just sat there and rubbed a metal rake on it. WOW! What a disappointment. After hopping on a checking out others' similar issues, it doesn't seem like Elkay is much help in resolving this flaw in their product. As someone in the design/construction industry, I feel compelled to stay away from Elaky for my clients' sake.

The overall size and depth are hard to beat. This sink if far better than any I've ever had. The single bowl will fit the size of anything. I'm sold on this sink and you will be too!!

Wanted the Elkay composite sink but couldn't find the color I wanted in time. This stainless steel sink is very nice for the price. It does not sound tinny like so many do. Once installed it looks very nice.

DO NOT BUY THIS SINK! The sink is scratched and rusted within one week of light use! Very disappointed with the quality but it is a undermount sink so its hard to remove to return. Do not stock with this sink just like me.

The sink was perfect and the instructions easy to understand. However, not sure why it cannot include a drain trap. That was separate. You cannot have sink without one.

Nice product for the money. Has a slightly water resistant finish so my hard water doesn’t leave spots if I don’t dry the sink with a towel.

Had a week and already several scratches. No kids in the house either so can blame them. All general use.
