Great barrel for a good price. I use mine to haul water. Be aware that you need a special wrench to loosen the caps.

opening if new
some have complained about not being to open the barrels, just use two screwdrivers and position one stable and use the other to wedge and pry/turn it open.

The barrel holds runoff water; however, since it is opaque white, the microbes, in the runoff, visibly react with the sunlight. I would not recommend the white barrel. The blue barrel is much more satisfactory.
