This did not stick. I had to use extra duct tape to keep it around the pipe. Once the freezing rain came, the foil part started peeling off. It was horrible! Never buying again!!

Tape does not stick well. The piece of blue tape they put on it to hold the end down actually sticks better. It tears easily so don't try to wrap it tight. I already had planned to put PVC tape over it so it worked out ok.

Adhesive is worthless. It is barely even tacky. Have to use other tape just to keep it in place.

The insulation tape was relatively easy to apply and has kept our pipes from freezing over the past week during a winter storm. It’s worth trying out!

Glad there is a product available to protect pipes & not just rags. The closing string cuts in to the styrofoam on the white covers & not so much on the reddish-brown covers. The red/brown is a more sturdy material. Both work well though I think the red one will last longer.

I used it to cover a pvc pipe that I put a heat tape on in the attic. It was easy to install and was just sticky enough to adhere to itself without sticking to everything else in the process. Happy with the purchase so far.

We actually did not need it. The normal pipe insulation worked well and is the best BUT if there are places that it won't cover or hard to get places, this is great. We just didn't need it and plumbers recommended the foam pipe insulation.
