Blade cuts great for about 20 feet then goes dull. At $10.00 a blade it is expensive, but the only one that I know of that fits the Saw Max.

Cuts plywood like a hot knife through butter!
I have been using the Dremel SM20 to cut 0.5 inch plywood. It cuts it much more quickly and much more cleanly than using a jigsaw. The cuts need minimal sanding, and they are smooth. The only drawback is the saw gets hot fairly quickly, so you can't just rip into a 8 foot long cut. Therefore, I recommend this saw for jobs that need shorter cuts. It does a beautiful job.

Works Effectively, but noo cost efficient. Blades wear/burn quickly.
Effective solution for small projects, but if you have a lot of cutting budget in multiple blades. I used this to cut the baseboard that was wedged between my drywall and hardwood floor (prior home owner installed hardwood without removing baseboard :(. This tool worked just great and effectively, but i barely got done with all baseboard in the room (a 14' x 15' bedroom). At $15 each that would add up fast on a large project! Sawmax motor & unit appears and feels sturdy and long lasting. Blade is the opposite.

Terrible product! Lasted less than 5 minutes trimming down a piece of 2x4 then burnt out and warped.
I'm very careful using tools but this product was very disappointing. I couldn't even finish the job I set out to do as it didn't last long enough. I expected a carbide wheel to be stronger and last a long time especially for the price. This is an extremely light duty product. I wouldn't buy a Dremel product again.

    Perfect Fit For Job
I had a difficult situation with an outside outlet on a wall that a stone mason installed a veneer of stone to the wall. The stone was cut too long and there was no way for me to get the outlet and "In-Use" cover installed. I needed to make a neat, precise rectangular opening in the stone for the outlet and cover to fit. I was concerned that if I used a chisel that I'd crack the stone. So, I tried the Sawmax and this wheel. It worked perfectly. I was able to train a small stream of water at the wheel while cutting the stone and the cut was very smooth and precise. I did not need any grout to fill in around the outlet and cover. I highly recommend this cutting wheel.
