Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, Thank you for your review! All glass should be inspected thoroughly for imperfections upon receipt and prior to installation. Glass is fragile by nature and the edges of tempered glass are vulnerable, especially during installation. Care must be taken when handling tempered glass. Any trauma to the corners or edges with a surface harder than itself (tile, marble, another piece of glass, etc) may result in breakage. Any chips or cracks will compromise the integrity of the glass and installation or handling of the glass should be stopped immediately. The installation manual has combined instructions for more than one model, due to the similarity of the installation steps. The Unidoor does not require any “cure” time, if the installation manual steps are followed properly. The Unidoor model you purchased is 34-35” in width, and has an adjustable wall profile which allows for width or out-of-plumb adjustments up to 1 inch, as per the product description details. The wall profile is on the stationary panel, as pictured. "The Unidoor is a 3/8" frameless heavy glass door system using glass-to-wall hinges that must be installed into studs. Professional installation is suggested. Using an assistant is also recommended, especially for first time installers. The installation manual states that: "This door is extremely heavy and the hinges on this door must be attached to studs or to pre-installed 2 × 6 wood reinforcement behind the wall." Wall anchors should not be used for the installation of the hinges. The supplied wall anchors for the inline glass panel wall profile screws are for generic use and require a 5/16" hole. At your discretion, you may substitute different wall anchors, if you so desire, to work better with your finished wall surface.
