Great product for protecting foundation vents and preventing debris from being blown in to your crawl space. My crawl space is more like a basement, so keeping crud out is important. I installed five several years ago when I had pavers installed for a patio. More recently, I bought three more to "finish" areas in my foundation that had electrical conduit (for a septic control panel) and a furnace vent coming through the concrete. They replaced three very ugly galvanized foundation vent wells. I would buy a lot more Decovents to allow me to completely remove and replace all the galvanized foundation vent wells in my home, but the Decovents are just too expensive to do a wholesale replacement of the galvanized wells.

It is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm glad Home Depot has it in stock.

I installed 2 of these ven. wells. I can see and feel a difference in the crawlspace moisture. I love the look also.

Installed for a customer who chose the charcoal color cover. Excellent product & the covers ensure animals can't enter crawlspace if vent screening somehow gets damaged. Only recommendation for manufacturer would be to enable using any of the slots for the drain tray (currently only 2 are usable) assuming it doesn't impact manufacturing cost too much. I need a few on the front of our house & plan to install them on our house as well.

I ordered 22 of these to install in front of the air vents in the crawl space under my house. I was raising the ground level to ensure proper drainage from the house to the curb. I live on a corner lot so there was a lot of grading necessary. These vent units are not cheap!!! But they are well worth the price. I first ordered four units to see if they met my needs and if I liked them. They arrived two days after I ordered them and they were perfect. They were the right size, color and shape. They installed easily and looked like they were custom made. I have already received complements from my neighbors. I then ordered the remaining eighteen units necessary to finish the project. They also arrived in only two days. Amazing!!! I was concerned about them arriving damaged, as I have read in other reviews, but each, and every, unit ordered arrived in perfect condition, with the exception of one unit which had the decorative lid mounted incorrectly. It was about one inch off center. It took me less than a minute to drill new screw holes in the plastic well to rectify the problem. I would recommend this product with complete confidence. It was perfect for my needs.

Excellent design for my application. The body was very sturdy, however one flange corner broken in shipment allowing only five mounting screws- better packaging protection needed in this area. Not all finish work in houses are level so I had a gap that required caulk - add a rubber seal or sweep?
