The floor Register is as advertised. Please check the specifications before you buy, they are ACCURATE. I was looking for a 14in long register and this was to the dot, since HDs in my area do not keep this I had to mail order it.

I have had in use approximately 2 weeks. They are much nicer than the original slated grates I had. They fit perfect. Easy open and close vent.

I really like the new floor registers. Very easy to drop into the opening and they look terrific.

The steel grate is surprisingly strong. Can be walked on without bending. Sits in the floor, no attaching hardware needed. The plastic shutter is not exactly built for extreme use but if not abused will do fine. They clean fairly easily . We have 3 100lb+ lap dogs and there long nails and foot traffic have not scratched the vents as of yet.

Do not buy these grates. Company will not stand behind their product.

It is to0 light and bends when you walk on it. Use this beautiful piece in non-foot traffic areas.

The top looks very nice. The mechanism is plastic, the top is metal. Our problem was that this design only came in two sizes. For any other sizes, you are out of luck. This product is ok. Looks nice against our hardwood floors.

The most important part of these covers is the decorative metal cover. It looks great and like something that would cost a lot more. The underside is plastic that luckily you don't see unless you are really checking them out. On the plus side the plastic is easy to clean and won't rust.

Love the new register. The finish is beautiful! Great buy.
