Exactly what we needed
This counter top dishwasher is being used in the isolation area of a cat shelter. We needed something small that would get the water hot enough to help disinfect the dishes. It does the job perfectly. Thank you

Very good for small loads.
My dishes get clean! It is a little tricky to fit plates or serving dishes. Silverware comes out clean if you remember not to use too much soap- it requires such a small amount.

Works ok
It's handy if you only have a small area and no room for a regular size dishwasher

Efficient portable dishwasher
We updated a 1950s Rambler, opting for a larger dining room and a smaller kitchen. We had to decide between losing under the counter space vs counter top space. We chose the later. Glad we did as this fits our needs and is much more energy efficient vs the under the counter models.

This dishwasher is everything
You think you don't have the space or money for a dishwasher? Wrong! This little beauty sits right on the counter and saves my life day after day. We have a household of three, and this little beauty is plenty big enough. I can have guests over for dinner, toss the dishes in, and go right back to partying without missing a beat. The ten minute clean up is priceless, really.

This dishwasher is just right for the two of us!
This Dandy countertop dishwasher is perfect for one or two people. I plumbed mine and put in the space where my old one was and have half again the space underneath for storing larger items that I don't use as often.

Good Countertop DW
Good for a small space. Should be packed more carefully. Ours came with big dent in the top right out of the box. There were boards inside for rigidity, but the top was still dented. Didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it. Works fine.

Wonderful little Dishwasher!
This dishwasher has been wonderful for us! Works great and love that our glasses and silverware are cleaned really well! Found that LIQUID detergent works much better than powdered.

Danby Countertop Dishwasher
I bought a house with no dishwasher and limited space in the kitchen. A traditional portable dishwasher on wheels would not have worked with limited space. I have never seen a dishwasher like this one and figured I would give it a try. Living alone the size was perfect. I could not be happier with the performance of this machine. I have used it almost a year now and NO issues!!

Great little dishwasher
I never knew there were counter top dishwashers. Have a small kitchen and this is a lifesaver. Washes dishes, glasses, silverware and small pots well. Doesn't do huge quantities but for regular use for 2 people.

Cleans my dishes like a full-sized dishwasher.
It's so convenient to load the dishes and start it up as opposed to hand-washing them like I used to. They come out so clean and steamy and hot. I can't believe that thing cleans so well. Love it!!

Can't even hook it up!
Can't say how it works, but Home Depot doesn't carry any adapters to hook the water up, tried several plumbing stores no luck. Will be returning!

Well worth it. Small & efficient
quite a useful appliance for washing dishes and drinkware. Pots, pans, and silverware are more hit-and-miss. The loading pattern specified in the instructions doesn't work at all if you want to get things cleaned, so you have to experiment to find where best to place everything. Well worth it.

    Works better than expected
I've had this dishwasher for over 3 weeks now & I must say it exceeded my expectations! It was simple to assemble & the hook up is a snap. Fits perfectly next to my sink with room to spare. I read numerous reviews on different machines, I'm so glad I choose this one. I love the digital display, delay start, ease of use & pressure release valve on the faucet connector (so water doesn't splash everywhere after use). I use cascade gel detergent & finish with jet dry rinse agent and have had NO issues with film /build up on my dishes. I have also tried running it with hot or cold water (from my faucet) and have seen no difference in the cleaning capabilies as it has a heating element in it & does not need hot water to run. There is not a 'heated dry' option but there is no need for it because the cycles get hot enough that they are almost entirely dry when I open the door after its done anyway. The removable cutlery basket & plate spacer rack make extra space for bigger servingware or larger items thou some things are just to big for this small machine. I don't mind hand washing a few large items thou so it doesn't bother me. I knew purchasing this dishwasher it wasn't going to be able to fit EVERYTHING but it sure has cut down on my after dinner clean up. I couldn't be happier (& my boyfriend also since I don't complain about dishes anymore!). We don't have children so it's perfect for just the two of us. Oh and make sure your dinner plates are (or smaller then) 10.5 inches as they will not fit, I read this in a previous reveiw & measured my plates before my purchase. Only thing I would change is for the manufacturer to add color options since this machine does not match the black appliances in the rest of my kitchen.

      Disappointed
Really liked the size for my small space, and liked results while it lasted. Got five uses before it died. I had read other reviews thoroughly before choosing. The most common problems were leaking or just quitting, but there were enough positives I decided to purchase anyway. My mistake. I picked up on September 14, last usage on 21st before death. Talked with a few approved "fixers" from Danby website, none interested in repairing. Because of mobility issues, have yet to return, but hope to hand back to Home depot with no hassle.

      Love my dishwasher!
So efficient. I am pretty sure it uses less water than doing dishes in the sink. It is easy to use & everything comes out nice & clean.

      Best Buy
Who ever wants a portable dishwasher get this easy to install, operate and price very reasonable. This little machine can be place beside the sink cause its not bulky, the only thing I had some kind of problem is when picking up at Homedepot the package is huge won't fit on my Camry so I just take the shipping box and its good, by the way I also own 12000btu Danby window aircondationer from Coscto($270.00) they worked great too. I highly recommend this product.

      It gets the job done
I guess I would ultimately recommend this product but with some comments. This little dishwasher gets the job done but in an average way. For apartment living, this does the trick. However, it isn't as energy efficient as I thought. My management company has started charging me for excessive electric use since I got this dishwasher. I did my research and this is supposed to be the same voltage as a microwave. While I use this product longer than a microwave, I only use it two or three times a week. Also, I had to google a video on how to hook up the hose to my sink - the instructions aren't that clear and could use a few sample images. It also took me two washes to figure out why the hose in the back was leaking. Lastly, it doesn't always clean perfectly. I can't figure out the rhyme or reason because I don't over fill it but sometimes I have dishwasher soap/pod residue after a wash. Especially with the pods, they sometimes don't always disintegrate. Overall, I'm glad to not have to constantly wash dishes anymore but I do have to make sure I rinse the dishes before putting them in this dishwasher.

Don't be decieved by the "6 place settings" size
Note that the plates shown are salad plates/ saucers and small dinner plates. It might fit larger dinner plates, but you won't fit anything else in this. Forget cups bigger than Juice glasses or coffee mugs larger than 16 oz . The bowls pictured are 4-ish inch diameter "fruit bowls" not bowls suitable for soup. The only place my normal sized Corelle bowls fit is where the instructions say a serving bowl belongs. yes. ONE bowl will fit in there. As far as getting things clean, it did a good job- everything was clean except the reusable straws (but I didn't really expect it to get smoothie out of straws) The 5 rinse cycles spaced out over an hour and a half seemed a little overkill (I've never had a dishwasher before, is this even normal?) And there was no dry cycle-at all. On the plus side, the basket does easily come out to place on the counter over some kitchen towels to air dry While I appreciate that it was tested, I'm not so happy about the water left in the inside of the machine-where all the paperwork was. Everything was damp and had we not opened it right away, would likely have been musty if not moldy. It's getting returned-not going to work for us.

        GREAT PRODUCT!
Had mine for 5 years now, at the website because the hose has a small leak and figured I would write a review and get a new hose. Dollar for dollar one of the best purchases I've ever made, two hundred and something dollars has saved me weeks of time over the past five years. Now I hope they sell the hoses separate.

          Countertop Dishwasher in White
Great product. Very resonable price. Easy to install. However, it did arrive with two dents. One on the right side, the second on the top. These dents are not really what I wanted, but I am not going to go through the hassle of returning the item just to get another dented dishwasher. I would suggest that you go pick it up yourself, if you can.

          moderate purchase
With the measurements I thought it would fit on my counter but it doesn't. The part that irked me most about this was the delivery. My front gate is locked. instead of bringing it to one of two other doors the delivery service used dropped it over the fence/gate. The is a dent on one side from this being done. Also the instructions are good but it does not tell you the there is a removable washer incase it doesn't at first fit your sink. The hoses that attach to the back are already loosening and so sometimes can leak. Make sure you always check it.

          exactly what I wanted
Easy to hook up, easy to operate. One needs to remember that this does not have the capacity of a full size washer.
