[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought 2 of these to replace my old corded 276s. They are well worth the price, and work great all day working in new construction. Being cordless saves us so much time and is very convenient in most situations. Doing things like barrels was so much easier without a cord to get stuck on and drag around. Putting on small strips on windows,entryways, arches, stairs, and openings is also much easier. They can also survive high falls. One of them survived falling 16 feet 3 separate times while doing firewalls for duplexes. We have driven 100s of bulk boxes of screws and had no problem with them after 6 months. I also recommend to using the smaller batteries due to the weight of them. Hopefully the new compact 4 ah battery that is coming out will allow me to use it longer without adding to much weight.

Good product for drywall installation, lightweight but with more power than regular screw guns, the battery last all day, I'm Happy with my purchase.

Screwgun works great for driving screws straight, fast, without overdriving. But not at angles. Also, forward and reverse switch is directly opposite of my Dewalt drills

I'm a homeowner that likes to buy tools and do the project myself vs. hiring it done. This is my first drywall screwgun and on the fence if it was worth the purchase. Pros: The gun is a lot lighter than my Dewalt cordless drill making the overhead work easier. The battery run time is great and driving screws in straight is much easier and eliminates overdriving. Cons: I see two major flaws with this product: 1) The forward/reverse switch as it is directly opposite of my Dewalt cordless drill and every other drill I have owned. What a mistake. My first two attempts to drive a screw in just ended up boring a hole because I had it in reverse. 2) While it did a fantastic job of driving screws straight in, when you need to drive a screw at an angle, it would not do it without manually adjusting the depth setting to get the depth correct. I ended up using my Dewalt cordless drill with a $2 Dewalt dimpler to drive screws at an angle defeating the purpose for buying a screwgun. My guess is the diameter of the dimpler was much smaller enabling it to drive at a angle longer before disengaging. Dewalt could both narrow the diameter and taper the end of the shaft enabling a similar outcome. I may return the product and hope they redesign this. Still evaluating if this could just be my inexperience in using this type of tool, or if it's just got a couple of design flaws.

This cordless tool changes everything. When it comes to cutting drywall you have to ask yourself, do I need to have the freedom of cordless or do I want to be tethered to a power cord. I think you know the answer.

Needed a better way to cut wallboard than a saw. This was the best tool! Lightweight, easy to control, and the light helps you see your pencil marks. Only complaint is the on/off button. It works okay, but placement of the button is a bit inconvenient.
