Bought it because I keep having trouble getting a replacement handle to fit and work. Ordered this one because it is a Mansfield toilet. It did not fit at all. Complete waste of money.

It was the wrong part for my toilet. I returned and got one that worked.

THE DESCRIPTION SAYS IT IS A REPLACEMENT FOR MY TOILET, IT IS NOT. THE PLASTIC HANDLE SCRAPES THE FRONT OF THE TANK & WILL NOT ADJUST BACKWARDS WITHOUT BREAKING .

I purchased this part from Home Depot 6 years ago. That required using a twisty to attach the handle bar to the toilet plunger but otherwise worked great! This time around the part had a different geometry despite it being for the Same brand of toilet. I used a razor blade to shave down the size of the tank but as it was initially ill fitting. And then a coping saw to cut down the length of the lever bar. But after that it worked well enough. It did turn a 5 min job into a 30 min one.

The length is good. The part feels pretty weak and will probably break soon. The locking nut is not threaded all the way through and had to be swapped out before installing.

While affordable, this handle is bent at the WRONG angle for any of my Mansfield toilets. And I have six. It just doesn't work without heating and bending it. And then it doesn't work smoothly. Maybe it fits some Mansfields but not any of mine. The manufacture could solve this by producing different models with different angles.

Not the correct angle and therefore would not push flapper down so toilet just continue to run and try to fill up.

First you will need to cut it off with is not an issue since it is plastic but then you will have to heat the plastic up to put the correct bend in the rod. (And make sure you cool it off quickly so the plastic will whole the correct shape.) Had I know the only one Home Depot had in stock required that much -- I would have just glued the old one back together. Home Depot really needs to find another supplier on this one.

This part fit but broke in two days. Before it broke, the lever would stick in the down position and the toilet would continue to run. Ended up having to order another Mansfield toilet lever with a different curve and it works great! Buyer beware this is not a one Mansfield toilet fit all part

The only thing I would change about this purchase experience would be to get the poor guy that was working the Customer Service counter either a better/bigger space heater, or barring that some sort of wind screen/buffer. It was really cold that day, and he's standing on bare concrete. Other than that, everything went great. I laughed, I cried, it was better than CATS...

The handle sent had to be modified by heating and bending to make it fit into the plunger. It also encumber the float so that it stayed open and the water kept running after flushing. I finally bought a whole new float assembly and was able to heat the trip lever & bend it from straight to curved

Run away from this product. I bought one to repair a toilet and while this looks exactly like what you need, it isn't. The angle of the arm is too sharp to sit easily into the plunger. Instead it tugs at the plunger not allowing it to re-seat upon flush. I figure the tugging will also compromise the plunger altogether. Bad design, bad product.

It didn't work. If I press the lever, it doesn't come back up and so I have to pull it back up. I removed it and ordered another one from a different store.
