Very easy to use. Plug it in and charge overnight. Then plug in what you want protected. We bought 7 of them for our office. One for every computer, copier, fax, phones. They work great so far.

I purchased these to replace 5 yr old units by another company. These have more backup power and 8 nicely spaced outlets for 2 or 3 adapters on each side. I have not had a power outage to verify their effectiveness, but so far after 1 mth they seem to be working and the extra outlets have allowed me to reduce a 6 bank of surge protector. I had to use 3 now only 2 and the outlets on the wall. Did I mention the spacing of the outlets for adapters? Everything has an adapter and not all of them have a regular plug (small) like my laptops. Also the price is great. Much lower than the competitors models and the other stores. This unit can also stand up saving floor space.

Works well for small devices and great price to boot. Not meant for large appliances like tower PC's and big screen tv's. Plug n play out of the box.

Very convenient and great price

I am using this as a backup supply source for sprinkler clock and outdoor fountain. It seems to work fine, but you really don't know unless the power to the house goes out often, which it doesn't.

Awesome UPS for the cost! This is my second one purchased because i wanted another one in my living room for my entertainment system! Works well, would recommend it to others!

Great for the application.

I mainly use these to handle brown outs; not so much for a bunch of runtime. Have to buy a new one of these every 4 years or so; not worth replacing the battery. Best price I could find and free shipping was great. Bought an extra one.

This battery back-up 8 outlet surge protector was impossible to find in stores. Home Depot had it online. Ordered it and picked it up in the store a few days latter. Easy purchase. I like that 4 of the 8 outlets have the additional battery back-up. The spacing of the outlets is good for the bigger plugs. I also like the phone line protection it provides. Great product, would recommend.

Works great with short term power outages on my AT&T U-verse DVR and modem. In the past if the power was out for more than 5 seconds the system need to be restarted. Don't need to do that anymore.

Bought two to back up tv's. Worked perfectly and very reasonably priced.

Great price for this UPS. I bought 2 of them one for my Network items and one for my Dish TV setup. Both are working fine. No more drop out when the power glitches on Network and TV. I would recommend this to all my friends

I was using my last UPS for my DVR and the battery finally gave out after several years. I looked at several sites/stores to replace. I found the same model at Home Depot much cheaper than any place else. For my use, the UPS works great and prevents my DVR from losing its settings and taking a long time to boot back up. The only thing I would caution future buyers is that the pictures showing the UPS on this site are not the SE425G, but the CP425SLG. The SE425G does not come with a USB port, but is otherwise the same.

For the money, this UPS is great for a simple computer system.

The battery seems ok but I was very surprised it does not have a USB outlet that enables the user to attach the battery to the computer so you can use power management software that enables auto shutdown of the computer in case of power frailer. I did not know prior to ordering as I have never seen a battery without this feature.

I have only had the product for short amount of time; but I really like up to this point.

We have serious thunder and lightening storms all summer long. Decided to protect our computers with 4 of these, and they have worked like a charm. I love the insurance that covers up to $75,000 worth of equipment if the product fails to protect the computers etc. plugged into them.

I don't know how long a battery back-up is supposed to last, but I bought this one to replace the same model I had that was 3-4 years old. Maybe I could have spent twice as much and got a little more out of it, but I'm satisfied with what I got. The reason I didn't give it the full five stars is that occasionally the old one would start beeping for no reason and I would have to unplug it and, for lack of a better word, "reboot" the back-up battery. Then It would work fine for several months, maybe a year, before I needed to do it again. For the price, I think it works fine.
