Really pleased and satisfied we got this shade. It was easier to install that I expected. Although 2 persons would have made lifting it and holding it in place easier, being a little creative, I was able to complete the job by myself. The open/close mechanism is solid and smooth - seems like a quality product. The shade is attractive and works well to block the sun on our patio. I'd definitely buy it again.

The shade was very easy to install (although the screws and anchors that came with it were too short) and very good quality. The entire install took less than thirty minutes, but it is more efficient with two people to hold the ends to fit the roller shade into the brackets. The brackets have screw slots which makes fine fit adjustments extremely easy. The mechanical crank wand works smoothly and quickly to roll the shade up and down. This shade has turned my hot southern Utah patio into a very comfortable dining and relaxing space! The estimates I received from "shade/awning companies in the area" were thousands more than this quality 90% UV protection shade.

I bought this to hang from my backyard patio in order to block the intense early morning sun. It works wonderfully!! It dropped the temperature in my kitchen by at least 20 degrees!!!

Installed on outdide wall of Lanai screen to prevent rain coming inside to wet furniture. Shade is always down. It holds up good for last few months during rain in Florida. Will roll up during storm or hurricane.

Purchased this roller shade to add to the balcony, but within the shade completely warped in less than week. Images attached. Thought it may just be a quality issue so I purchased a second one and the same issue happened. Called Coolaroo customer service and they said that they would reach out, but haven't heard from them for several weeks now. Highly do not recommend

I took down our prior shades about 3 years ago when house was painted. I have missed them! Was having a heck of a time finding something like this. I remember when you had the ones with the line that you could disengage the feed and they would drop and were easy to pull up. I guess they were discontinued as they were a hazard to kids. The motorized ones are far to expensive for me so these were a great find. I originally wanted white to match the trim but these look really nice on my gray and white house. Very pleased.

Overall looks great from a distance. Up close there's scratches on the side covers, probably a manufacturing defect. It makes the product looked used, but I have it hidden up against a corner. Get it from the store if you can, I waited a month and a half tip have it shipped, about a month longer than estimated. They used a company called NonStopDelivery, they don't update their tracking so you have idea where it is. I would but another one for the other side of my porch if I ever saw it on sale, but I'm not in a hurry. Remember if you are in a hurry, grab one from the store.

My husband installed this on our west facing dining room window about a week ago. That afternoon we could tell a distinct difference in the temperature inside the house. We’ve been able to bump up the thermostat a few degrees, and the house is still staying cooler. I have two more ordered for other windows on the same side of the house. These were easy for my husband to install using an electric drill and a few hand tools. Total install time was about 30 minutes.

I installed two of these shades on my patio in the hopes of reducing the sun exposure. Not only do they do a great job at reducing the sun, but they help to keep the patio cooler throughout the day and they’re easy to install. I’ve even noticed a significant impact inside! Definitely recommend!

Great item for an easy fix for wind, sun and visual barrier for deck or patio. The crank is easy to use but sometimes it is a challenge to get the hook into the roller loop. It is easy to install and very sturdy.

I bought two of these to put side by side for our West facing porch. They make a huge difference in the temperature of our porch. We easily changed it to a ceiling mount and installed both. However, the lengths were not the same. When both are unrolled to the max length, there is about a 1 in difference in length.

Easy to install, and looks amazing !

I am very happy with the installed shade and would highly recommend this purchase. It was valued priced, filtered the sunlight as advertised, and is easy to raise and lower. However, the instructions leave a lot to be desired and are confusing. I wanted to change my purchased shade from a wall mount to a ceiling mount, and there are instructions on how to do that. The problem is that page 4 says to make a "simple change to your Clutch unit and End unit", and to do so by removing "4 screws from both brackets and turning the units 90 degrees". However, page 8 says "no need to change the End unit". In reality, you should change both units, and it only takes 2 screws per unit. Once that is understood, the actual change is quite easy. The directions also want you to loose install both brackets until the shade is installed, then adjust as required and finish tightening all 4 attachment screws. The problem is that the rotated Clutch unit makes it impossible to tighter one of the bracket screws with a conventional screwdriver. I had to use a very small right angle screwdriver to tighten the last screw, going about 30 degrees per turn. Nevertheless, when finished, the shade works as advertised and is great.

Our patio was getting direct afternoon sun, so in the evening when we want to be out there eating dinner, we could not stand the hot sun! So glad we picked up this shade at our local Home Depot. We can now enjoy our little patio without the heat! We also have a sidewalk right near our patio, so it also helps with privacy.

It was perfect for my screened in porch. Lowering temperatures in the room considerably allowing us to use the porch in the afternoon. Great price- great product

Great buy! We looked at other outdoor shades online and they were over $500. You can't beat the price of these. It does what it should - blocks the sunlight and you can still see through it. Easy to install and easy enough for my 9 year old to wind them up and roll them down. Only negative is the middle sags a little on the 10 ft shade. We will see what happens over time.

Was happy with install, but now I have to stare at this white line

I was excited to get this blind. I had a handy man install it for me. It is perfectly level. When I roll up the shade all the way it is crooked and does not wind up even. So now I have to deal with returning something that has already been installed. I would have given it a higher rating if it rolled properly

It is an excelent product and serve the purpose why I needed.

Works well and NOTICABLE difference in temperature on patio. Easy to install into stucco with anchors, recommend leaving yourself some slack to adjust brackets left or right after hanging by placing screws in center. The little brackets on the bottom that hold into the sides are a nice touch and keep the shade in place even with mild wind.

For a person who is not a handyman around the house, I was surprised on how easy these outdoor roller shades were to install - just be careful to use common sense with the bracket placement via the template guide (the drill holes were reverse positioned on the template) - very easy to hang on the brackets - the brown color matches our outdoor deck decor perfectly, and the transparency is perfect for what we wanted/needed. We're SUPER pleased that we'll be able to roll these up for the winter, and be done compared to our old cord shades that needed to be taken down and stored. A GREAT buy !

Easy to install. Keeps the sun out and it's much cooler in our patio

We have had two of these for several weeks to screen a hot tub under our upper deck (8' wide). The installation was pretty straight forward. It performs the sun and visual screening very well. We would recommend it for the price and value. It looks very nice. Depending on your application I would recommend getting another set of brackets to hold the securing straps so you can have more than on height position. (Note: the shipping cost for those are more than the cost of the units.) The manual operation works well. It definitely meets our expectations for what we wanted and the price.
