We paid nearly $3000 for blinds for our 10' high lanai. We installed additional metal supports every 10' in width as instructed by them and were told multiple times by the sales representative that they would withstand winds up to 40 mph. However any breeze at all makes them unravel from the upper bar, blow out across the lanai and knock over chairs. Many times they completely unravel. We have tried for 2 months to get Home Depot to stand behind this product that they sell, but they ignore our calls and now will not let us return them. Also the one blind has a psychedelic pattern which is nauseating.

Nice, well made sun shade - used on front of aluminum 8x6 grill gazebo to hide my pool equipment. Works perfectly!

This was a replacement of the same brand etc. this new incased style is a pain. Honestly, it rarely rolls up straight which looks tacky or retry over and over without wind and another person to help guide it, and they even redesigned the attachment for the operating pole. So it will flop around while rolling up or down. Sometimes coming out of the loop. Just adding to more frustration. I miss the old design, streamlined and straight forward it lasted 7 years before the sun wrecked the shade aspect. The only reason we replaced. I would’ve been happy just replacing the fabric, as hardware was still fine and preferred over this new design. However, it does block shade but I would consider other hardware options. As we roll up and down daily.

Perfect dark brown color. Fit was tighter than measurements given, but we were able to make it fit. Blocks the west setting sun!

Bought two of the three months ago. One has already warped. I'll be reaching out to the manufacturer and if it's put right I'll change this review.

We bought two blinds a couple of years ago, enjoyed them, and have just bought two more. The steel mounting brackets have been replaced by cheap plastic ones. I do not expect them to last. Very frustrating indeed.

Easy to install. Quality materials.

Quality materials, right down to stainless steel screws used for mounting, produced a great looking installed product. Had to buy some lead wall anchors to set the screws for the retaining clips into vertical brick walls, but this was expected (did not want to use the plastic wall anchors that were provided). Very pleased with the end result.

These shades saved our back porch time! The west sun looks right into our screen porch but it’s too hot to sit out in afternoon but these shades help solve that problem immediately after installing them! Yay! Thx

We added this to the west side of our patio and it really knocked out the sun and helped to cool down the patio. We love it!

This Coolaroo shade met my expectations 100% plus for my new pergola. The UV resistant, small footprint, color, and use is great! I highly recommend this inexpensive shade to anyone.

Easy to install and works perfect for my patio area!

Easy to install. Really blocks the sun hitting the window. Help keep the interior of my home from heating up excessively than before. A/C runs less often now. It also blocks someone from seeing through window when curtains are drawn, yet I can see relatively out of the window without difficulty.

The shade itself is fine but being 10’ long they should have made the bar heavier duty because it sags in the middle with the bar being so weak. I wouldn’t recommend the 10’ but maybe the shorter ones would be fine

Easy to install. I was able rotate the crank mechanism to be installed on the left side and one on the right side of my patio roof. Turned out great for me. I highly recommend this sun shade. Took me about a half hour to install after getting the ladder out, marking the lines and screwing the brackets up and then popping them into place. Make sure they Click in Completely though ! Then you’re made in the shade.

We put four of these shades up. They keep the heat out & let the light in. Worked perfect for us!

I recommend these shades for any house with sun exposer. We put four on our house with extreme sun and cut the heat index by 90%

We purchased a total 3 of these blinds for our hardtop gazebo and they work great! They were very easy to install and do a superb job of blocking the sun. My better half loves how they're easy to operate and the extra privacy they offer.

This is a great shade very easy to install and blocks the direct sun, but still can see through it. Highly recommend.

I have two 6' Coolaroo shades on my home and two 10' shades on my gazebo. The two on the gazebo have endured significant wind and rain with no signs of distress after 10 months of use. Installation by one handy person with a small ladder is possible.

Excellent for providing shade when sun is high. Not so good when sun is lower. I have read some reviews about the pole. The manufacturer should make this. I used a cheap cordless screwdriver with a long nut and an aluminum rod with a hook on the end. Makes raising and lowering a breeze. Plus the rod can be any length.
