Overall I would give this product a good rating. However we purchase a total of 3 packages which consisted of 6 light fixtures in what appeared to be un-opened packages. Each of the fixtures and globes came in good condition, however 2 of the packages were missing half of the hardware. The local store was very cooperative and was able to find enough hardware for us to finish the project.

These are made well and look great. And you can't beat the price. They really accent our hardware and the room decor. I would highly recommend you get these put throughout your whole house. They are easy to wire (the new ones come with an easy plug and play harness) it's hard to mess these up. The wiring and brackets are easy to use. They come in a two back so plan ahead.

Light comes packaged well. Nothing was broken or missing when I opened it up. The 2 light fixtures replaced our single round bulb fixtures we had in our bedroom master closet and our laundry room. The insulation on the inside of the lamp is a bit annoying and extremely frail. Was a nightmare trying to feed the bolts mounted to the top bracket into the light itself. I initially put in way higher watt bulbs than recommended and realized it so had to swap em out. Light dispersion is perfect and my daylight bulbs project extremely well. Wiring was easy as can be. Light has quick connect for power and constant but not ground. Took maybe 10 minutes a light to install once all the old stuff was removed. It was so quick and easy I didn't even turn the power off.

The GOOD: The price and looks. The BAD: The globes are NOT tea stained as described. BEWARE!! They are packaged together and both sandwiched between two pieces of styro-foam. They are VERY awkward to get out of the box and the top globe is not secure at all!! I broke two of them getting them out of the box. You cannot take the top globe out until you can get it up partially out of the box and by that point it is where it wants to slide out on the floor. Even with two people it is a pain. I am unsure at this point if I can replace the globes or not and don't think that Home Depot will exchange them even if I had time to run back up there. All in all since I didn't have a finished product to install, I will give these a low rating. If they would fix these two issues, I would definitely recommend them!

Installed this light a couple of months ago. Great value with the 2-pack. The push in electrical connections are genius and easy to use. No more wire nuts and tape. The hardest part of installation is guiding the machined screws through the slots because all of the insulation on the top side is in the way. Takes some patience and arm endurance if you do a couple in a row. The threaded rod was a little long, so the cap nut on the bottom jams out so it can potentially be an issue for a straight glass dome. Not too difficult to adjust though. Overall pleased with the look and quality for the price.

I like how this light has two of the common screw-in connectors for the bulbs. I bought two of these to replace a harder-to-find and inferior 4-pin CFL light fixture. Instead of replacing the ballast on it, I went ahead and bought this. Great look but install was a little tricky. It would have been easier if it utilized the center larger threaded connection to the bracket, but instead it used two small (a bit too small) threaded screws on the edge. Need to push insulation to get it to slide into the grove before twisting and tightening up. Second fixture took half the time as I knew what I was in for. Nice value. Take your time installing.

I live in a 1950's style home where the installers did not believe in outlet boxes, so I had to "MacGyver" this insulation to fit my needs. Firsts off, I love this light fixture, very elegant and stylish. Second, instruction manual was useless. I had to figure out on my own how install this light fixture to my ceiling. Next, hate the speed connects that are attach to the fixture. I had to add in a 14 gauge copper cable and twist tight it to my ceiling wire, so I could push my cable into the speed connect. After about 30 or so stressful minutes installing 1 light fixture, the light fixture itself looks pretty good when combine with the 40w cree led light bulbs.Very Bright.

I realize that these are VERY inexpensive, but after installing both of them I wouldn't purchase them again. The first fixture went up all right, although trying to punch the mounting screws through the insulation was a messy process and I wish I'd been wearing a full face mask and long sleeves. The second fixture had wires that weren't even connected. The three white wires come together and are crimped, but the crimp wasn't properly done and one of the wires hadn't even been stripped. Needless to say, it was done *enough* that we couldn't tell before we tried to install it. We had to take it all down, look over the whole thing, strip the fixture wires and re-do the connection with a wire nut. Once we got that figured out, the rest of the installation went all right with the exception of the pole that holds the glass and nut; neither one was precisely-enough made that the post will go into the mounting hardware deeply enough to hold the glass in the right place. Because they're hanging, it's not too obvious, but if they end up shifting around as time goes on we'll be taking them down and replacing them. This is not my first rodeo with replacing flush-mount lights, and these were by far the worst I've ever worked with. tldr: they're all right once they're up, but getting them installed is HORRIBLE.

We wanted to update the brass fixtures in our house without spending too much money. I saw these in the store and bought a pack to try them out. The directions were easy to follow. The only part of the installation that was difficult was when trying to get the mounting screws through the fixture as there is so much insulation in the back of the fixture. After installing two lights, I went back to the store and bought 2 additional packs so we could update the rest of the fixtures in our house. They look great and provide much more light than our old fixtures did.

These were on sale 2 for $23. They are a great value, they look good and work very well. I'm pleased with their appearance. Installation was easy.

Very easy to install anyone can do it even a first timer. Don't forget shut off your electrical Breaker

I had an electrician install theses for me. He had no problem with the installation. With the 2 60W bulbs they really brighten the areas they were installed in. I would recommend these & will be purchasing more for other rooms.

Lights were easy to install, and look great. The "metal" is a faux metal and is made from plastic... But you can't tell by looking at it. Great price for 2 light fixtures.

Looks nice on our freshly painted kitchen ceiling, * installed easily where an old ceiling mounted florescent fixture was. Two 60w bulbs light up the room very well, although the assembly does get hot & I wish there were some vent holes, I'm thinking of putting it on a dimmer switch anyway. The 'easy-snap' connectors are nice, but you can just cut them off if you like standard twist on connectors. * (Note: other reviewer installed the metal mounting bracket incorrectly (upside-down), make sure the curved part is up.)

Well, the lights are affordable but I had 1 issue and is was when you try to screw the nut on the glass globe it's just a little bit too long. It was not exactly tight. I screwed the bolt all the way to the base and probably that is the way it's suppose to be but I would like to have the globe a little tighter to the base. Overall I'm happy with the quality and it looks nice in the ceiling..

These lights are quite the deal. I've only installed one at this point but it looks good. The materials seem to be of good quality. The wiring uses those new wiring nuts which simplifies installation.

What a pain in the butt to install. I had purchased the identical lights with the built in LEDs about 10 years ago. One of them began to flicker so I decided to replace it. Unfortunately, they're no longer offered. These were much more tedious to install and the heat insulation fiberglass got everywhere trying to get it mounted.
