Excellent quality and ideal to repair a 6o year old lamp

I didn't notice till I got home with this product, but the inside of the threaded hollow rods are filled with rust. So much so that the rust was in the sealed packaging at the bottom if each rod. I could imagine my wife finding rust all over our table tops from this. The rods shouldn't rust this easily. This is the reason for only giving it one star. I do not recommend this product.

Used for a lamp project. Needed extension for a hockey stick lamp.

well. just how good/bad could it be? Stripped threads? No. Just fine.

I thought this product might replace the center post in an outdoor pole lamp. I quickly discovered it would not work for a variety of reasons, so I returned it to the store unopened. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to find a replacement part the would fit.

Just what I needed. These are difficult to find. Not many people repair of customize lamps anymore. Thanks for making these available at a fair price.

Made it easy to repair the lam the kids knocked over and broke.

I was really looking for a 20" pipe - but all that was available was the 2- 12" ounces with a connection joint. This adds to the thickness of the hole I had to drill and it can come loose making it a problem to repair.

Had the right parts , kinda expensive

Only useful if you're not planning on using it for an electric lamp. You can't pull a piece of 18 ga lamp cord (paired wires) through the pipe. But it's cheap!

I bought this product to repair a lamp in which the lower nut holding the pipe was so far up into the narrow-necked lamp base that I could not reach it with commonly available tools. I used a portion of one of the pipes to replace the short pipe with one that extended almost to the bottom of the lamp where it could be grasped with pliers. I also used some of the nuts and washers to provide more cushioning against the ceramic lamp base. It was an easy repair.

The kit had way more parts than I needed....but, on a "bang for the buck" basis, the larger kit offered more than the smaller. I used part of it to repair a damaged lamp and had material left over for future projects.

combined this with the Westinghouse Electrified Candlestick and Bottle Adapter Kit to fix an old lamp that was my grandmother's. it was a little to long but cut down just fine with a hack saw.

I'd prefer to see longer lengths in stock. I found some elsewhere and returned these.

Could have used 2 more washers, but otherwise it contains everything for the installations. Worked great on my Mexican Terracotta hanging lamps.

Needed some odd lengths of 1/8 IP for some ceiling fixture work and wasn't ready to wait for a new order, so Home Depot to select one of their chinese packaged kits. Not one of my favorite choices, but it gets the job done for now . . . unfortunately the big box stores are putting the real hardware stores out of business . . . getting hard to find anyone with experience at a store selling the material and ensuring you get the right fix.

I had a lamp which needed to be totally rewired and reassembled. With this kit I was able to put the lamp back together. Saved money from having to buy a new lamp.

all parts of this kit were useful and in sufficient numbers to repair or make a lamp.

Made a lamp using this -came out very nice would use it again .

The lamp pipes did the job perfectly. I used the lamp thread pipes to restore an old lamp that had a pull chain that pulled up rather than down. I rigged up a lever pull that fit through a hole I drilled in the lamp pipe.

bought it for our log lamp and it went right in .it works
