[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a teaching assistant in an elementary computer lab. Our school and computer lab is very old. I am not given a supply card like most teachers, so I must be very frugal with my spending as it is all my own money. I have discovered if I place the command medium hooks or the command medium designer hooks on the side of the computer monitors they make a great way to hand up the headphones and cords. This helps to keep the room organized. The great part is that since the monitors are very old and often break and have to be replaced, I can simply remove it with the strip and place the hook on the replacement monitor. Thank you 3M for this product. I just wish they were not so expensive.

Even though we are still at work, we like to have the meeting room decorated to feel like you have stepped onto the beach or into a winter wonderland. The command hooks are AWESOME! We can use these over and over again in the meeting room to hang stings of lights from the ceiling or lanterns for our "Fiesta" and "Beach Party" or lights for the "Winter Wonderland." They have definitely helped us transform the drab meeting room into quite a few spectacular luncheons!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these hooks every year hanging stockings and ornaments on to a painted wall and have never had any problems with the items staying on the wall or havin to repaint any wall.

With seven kids I have enough damage done to my walls, doors, and cabinets everyday without doing more myself drilling holes! Out of necessity I have shoe organizers hanging from many closet doors in the house, but I was tired of having the top metal hooks peel the paint off the tops of my closet doors and scrape the tops of the door jams. Finally, I put up the Command Large Hooks at the top of the closet doors and hung the shoe organizers from these instead of the metal clasps they come with- voila! No more scraping the paint off, and they never fall off the hooks as they did the metal ones! Thank you, Command for making my job a little easier!

I had bought 4 big hooks to hang our stockings on the wall for Christmas. After them being up for 3 weeks it was time to take them down last night. I removed the hook to release the tape just like it said to do. I was very disappointed when the tape broke and could not remove it properly. I had to pry them off the wall and along with the backing came my paint. Not very happy. Now I have to repaint my wall where the hooks were. I will never buy the products again. This product sucks!! Dont stick them to things you dont want ruined!!

I used many different sizes of the command product line do hang some Christmas decorations for one of my clients, instead of using nails, like their add says to do and I made sure I stayed with in the weight limits of the hooks. I followed the instructions and used rubbing alcohol to prepare the wall surface and just hours after I left stuff started falling off the wall taking big chunks of paint. Fearing for the rest of the stuff I hung, I went back and started taking down the other items and when I stretched the tabs the way they instruct, I still took paint off the wall. I would have been better off using small nails. USE NAILS NOT THIS PRODUCT!

I used a few of these to hang my purses and craft bags on the wall. I had a problem with 3 of them. They fell off the wall and peeled some of the paneling off the wall.

We are from Brazil and my mom is a painter. Her style is Naif and we took many paintings made in Brazil. Since the first day in the US we were looking for someting to fix pictures, frames, paintings on the wall. After discover Command we don't have more problems and we can change our decoration every couple months if we want and (better) without damage on the wall.

As a new teacher, I have found Command hooks to be extremely useful in the classroom. I use them to neatly display the many charts our state reguires, which has been a very difficult task in the past due to their size. I can easily add more charts as needed right on top of the previous one in a matter of seconds. They work perfectly for hanging clipboards, headphones (attached to computer), as well as anything else you need. Best of all, they come off without pulling the paint and can be reused. Love, love, love this product!!!!

Oh how I love command hooks. I decided to use white command hooks in updating my walk in closet. On one wall I have from the ceiling to the floor my purses on the wall. I can now see my purses all at once, I can keep the purses in order and they look good. I have receive compliments from friends

Wreaths are something I enjoy creating, particularly Christmas and ones for other holidays. Quite often I show my wares at Arts & Crafts Fairs and I find that spaces are often very limited. However, I pondered how I could display them to the best advantage and the idea came to use Command Hooks by 3M (I always request a booth with a wall). They work absolutely wonderfully well. I am including pictures of a very small space in a local church, indicating how I was able to display many wreaths for the customers to view and hopefully purchase. During Christmas I use Command Hooks to hang wreaths on mirrors in our bathrooms, very beautiful. Love these hooks@

I hung command hooks all over my college apartment. They’re so easy to install and I hang my keys/purse/towels/jackets on them. Even easier to remove and they’ve never damaged the walls.

I previously bought several hooks and they have been working well. Today I purchased 3 large utility hooks (white) to hang 3 empty purses. I prepped the wall as directed but when I peeled off the red liner, there was NO feeling of stickiness. None, absolutely none. Just to see, I lifted a small corner of the black liner - not sticky at all.

I purchased several large hooks for Christmas decorating. One was placed on the inside of our front door and held up very well last year (I actually forgot about it until Easter time!) displaying one of my favorite decorations. Unfortunately, this year when I applied the same hook with replacement "tape", it fell after a week, so I re-applied the tape and the second time it only made it two days. Why????

I bought these for Christmas to hang stuff on the wall so I wouldn’t have to damage the wall by putting nails in the walls, I should have put nails in the wall because now I have spots all over my walls where these strips took the paint right off

I have to say that I really love command products and these large utility hooks are no exception. I purchased several to put in all my closets in our apartment that doesn’t have much storage. I love them and not one has fallen down - I found that if you follow the directions closely you will be ok.

I was a little leary that just 1 could hold a 3 step metal step ladder, but to my surprise 1 did the job & over a year later is still doing the job. I have bought several more of these over the last year for other things & have been highly impressed.

I use to try to keep a calendar on the side of the refrigerator to try and keep track of our daily life. Magnets kept falling down and were useless. Then I got the idea to use a command hanger. I placed one on the side of the refrigerator and it works so well. No more falling calendars and it is so easy to turn the pages when the next month comes, or when the next year come you just change the calendar. Oh, I forgot to say how nice it looks in place of the many magnets that were not doing the job. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the smallest Command hooks since they first came out, to keep extension cords for Christmas lighting subtly out of view. I started using this size Command hook several years ago to hold my purse off the ground at work. I don't know why it took me so long, but since then I have found it useful at home for not only purses, but also for the many Christmas garlands I hang around my home. No more big nail holes in the walls to repair after the holidays, yay!

I purchased several of the 5lb command hooks to hang Christmas wreaths on 12 front windows. These did not disappoint! The held the wreaths through snow, rain, sleet, hail during the months of November-January. When it came time to take them down the sticky part of the hook removed easily as promised. How do they do this and still offer holding capacity of 5-8lbs?? These are pricey, but, I found a decent deal on a multi pack. So pleased with this product!

Great for light items like dish towel, bath sponge, fly swatter, your house or car keys, even xmas lights. The list goes on just dont hang heavy stuff from they and you'll be fine...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have these hanging on the inside of my cabinet doors. I hang candy thermometers, large ladles and other items that are a bit too big to fit in my drawers. Perfect also for pot holders and small cutting boards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic hook needs to be made stronger right where it attaches to the 'wall plate'. Either add more plastic, or reinforce with metal. Also, there needs to be a space on the back that holds the extra tape so that you can find it when you need it!

Initially I was a great fan of Command Hooks but that enthusiasm has been tempered by deteriorating performance. In the latest example I carefully cleaned the side of a wooden cabinet with rubbing alcohol, applied the medium-duty hook per the package instructions and dutifully waited over an hour. After waiting for the adhesive to cure I gently hung a thin cutting board on the hook. In less than 5 seconds the hook and the cutting board were on the floor. The adhesive strip completely gave way and lost contact with the cabinet. I am amazed at how poorly this product performed and would not have believed it if it had not happened right in front of me. Two stars to recognize that Command Hooks used to be reliable.

They work great except for removal. When I took some of them down in my classroom to relocate them, it tore paint off the walls.

I have been using Command hooks for over 10 years. Occasionally one will fall off but it's usually one I've been using for years. I have noticed that when using on sheet rock they are only good for light items. Belt, keys, pot holders, scissors, etc. When removing from sheetrock or painted surface it is imperative that it is held completely flat against the wall until the adhesive strip is completely removed. If you don't that's when you end up with paint and plaster coming off. I love them. They are all over my home. Command hooks are holding the curtain rods in every room in my home.
