I have used the ClosetMaid wire shelves for some time. I connected two T hooks to the garage ceiling at 5 feet apart. Then I put the wire shelves over the T hooks. 1.5 feet of the shelf hangs over each end of the hooks. I store a ton of stuff on these shelves. The wire shelf allows the items to not fall through. I store fishing equipment, irrigation pipes, wood, gutter parts, five gallon buckets, etc. Well made and does the job well.

Hubs built new walk in pantry and we used Closet Maid shelving exclusively. They were inexpensive, easy to install and look and work great!! Thanks Closet Maid and Home Depot! A++

Easy to put up. Used for consoles and placed just above mounted TV. With a baby we had to make space on the floor and remove wiring on floor.

Great product, easy to install, even in tight laces like the closet where I put it!

I love these shelves they are strong and look nice. The only thing I wish was that the store offered the 36" length. All I could get was 48" and I had to cut several to make them fit. They were easy to cut and was able to put the cut end flush against the wall so I didn't have to file edges. Cutting them didn't hamper their durability at all

This system is great. I installed four of these shelves last weekend. The hardest part about it was paying for it. I was going to be displaying items - so I also updgraded brackets. Each shelf cost "out the door" (in Seminole, FL store) right at $37 + tax. My best advice to newbies willing to invest in the ClosetMaid system...measure twice and cut once, cuz at this price getting it wrong will start a fight. Trust me ;)

Very good product. I made a set of magazine racks from them. Mounted them on wall lengthwise with the 'angle' out from wall and a strip of wood on top of bottom to hold the mags from dropping through and end pieces with holes drilled to fit on end of metal. Looks good. Together they hold 16 magazines.

Just what I needed got my expectations great because it can be customized to your needs. Got the job done as expected.

I had so much success with these products in my household closets, I have now successfully applied their use in my shop. These wire shelves are fantastic, not only for their intended function, but in a shop, you can hang additional goodies from them! The shelving is high quality, easy to install and flexible to meet just about any storage requirements.

Is very good recommended to anyone who wants to have more space for other things.

Purchased a new embroidery machine and needed additional space to store accessories. The shelf provided an easy affordable solution. Very easy to install and a neat appearance.

This was about the easiest set of shelves that I have ever installed. Priced comparable to wood and brackets but so much airier. The system really improves the visibility in the cramped storage closet. But this was the first time I have used wire shelves and even though the picture at the store showed vertical rail supports at the ends, I did not realize the importance of them. YOU MUST PUT VERTICAL RAILS AT THE ENDS OF THE SHELVES OR THE BACK CORNERS WILL SAG WHEN YOU PUT A LOAD ON THEM. I loved not having to paint them and used 24 inch bolt cutters to make easy work of cutting them to length.

The shelf is sturdy and was easy to install. Good value.

We needed extra shelving in our closet and my husband chose this Wire Shelf. They seem to b light weight and strong. It was easy to install and cut to size. Now I need to find time and energy to unpack some items so I will be able to find them easier.

Most people use them for shelving in a closet or even in a garage but I found a great use for them. My wife is a artist and we have a craft tent for selling art. We use them to hang the art on. they work great and don't cost nothing like the art racks you buy for craft tent. Saved me a bundle.

Just installed 5 of these shelves to add shoe storage. The installation was pretty straightforward after the first two. It's a bit hard to get the exact measurements right since A) One of the 2 items that gets put in the sheetrock (the support bracket) is angled away from the wall and B) the other item in the sheetrock has the nail approx 1/4" higher than where the shelf actually rests and the shelf must not be on the front bracket while installing this back clip. I used the "Pre-loaded Back Wall Clips" (the one with only 1 nail/anchor) and found that drilling their hole 12 1/8" above the centerline for my support bracket hole gave pretty level results. The shelves themselves aren't perfectly flat on top as the middle section seems to bow upwards - it was like this on all 5 of my shelves. Maybe over time and with weight on it they will flatten out. For my purposes this wasn't a big deal. Overall, a good purchase for the price.

Love these shelves, have them throughout my house. Build quality on the parts range from good to excellent. The wire shelves themselves tend to have damaged coating so you have to pick through the stack for the best ones. They are a pain to cut. But when complete, they are the best, adjustable shelves to have and this is what home buyers want to see when looking through your house.

These shelves are easy to install and very sturdy. Work well in many different situations. There are a lot of attachments available.

I've used these before and when I decided to switch from wooden shelves in the garage, these vinyl coated wire shelves were the way to go.

I have lots of this shelving all around the house. It is easy to put up, looks good and is easy to keep clean.
