[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this grill for over 10 years. When my gas grill died, I bought this grill and I have been pleased with it every time I use it. Plenty of space to accommodate a big crowd if needed. I was not familiar with Char-Griller when I got it, and worried it would not last. It has been a beast! 10 years and still going strong. I would buy it again and again.

BTW, I always took a little time to keep it clean and well-maintained. The wood rack and handle eventually became un-usable, but a simple visit to the Char-griller website fix that. They had the parts to me in a short time.

We’ve even taken to grilling steaks for Christmas dinner. Don’t really have any faults with this grill. I added the side smoker but haven’t smoked anything yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our first Char Griller (charcoal) grill a long long time ago. The body of this grill is rock solid. We have not had any rust or any kind of corrosion on it. My husband has replaced the side shelf a couple of times and put a real cool cedar handle on the hood after the original wood handle dried out and fell apart. I have purchased two charcoal grates and am ready to replace it again. I am in no hurry to replace this grill but when we do I want to get one we can attach a smoker. LOVE this grill!

The rectangular shape of the cooking surface gives much more usable surface area than something round and the raised grate is a great place to keep food warm or cook veggies. I use this thing almost every weekend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this grill for years, where my other grills in the past has rusted out and turned to junk, this one keeps performing year after year. Be sure to invest in a quality cover. The only point of failure has been the ash pan, which Rudy's out fairly easily, but that's easy to replace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this grill for almost 7 years. Keeping it covered, it has weathered quite well. I recently bought the smoker attachment, and I've made some awesome smoked foods! This grill gets only 4 stars because it is flimsy. Trying to wheel it from one place to another, it feels like it'll fall apart. It also doesn't hold temps well when smoking because the metal is so thin. Again, this is a great beginner grill/smoker (w/ another purchase), but could be a touch better.

After the meat reaches the right temperature, I wrap them in heavy duty foil and return them to the smoker with the dampers closed and i can clean up and set the table for guests and put the meat on a platter and unwrap them and watch them enjoy!!
