New CharBroil gas grill.
Grill seems to be okay. I'm sure it won't last like my previous CharBroil (cast aluminum) but time will tell. The ignitor worked the first time and then quit but that's not a hurdle for me. Have used it 3 times. Cooks fine. Hope the burners and all the other thin metal parts last a while.

New Father's Day Grill
It seems to me that the enameled exterior of the grill will hold up better in our damp weather. It may just be wishful thinking on my part, but time will tell.
The grill came pre-assembled and was easy to set-up for use. Father's Day I got to try it out and found that I had lot's of grilling area. At the same time I was able to cook the vegetables on the raised rack.
Lot's of temperature control.

Good Grill/Buy it in the Box
The grill is Ok but don't have Home depot assemble it, there were many rust spots on it and it was assembled backwards.

OK but has flaws
This grill doesn't get hot enough -- very low flame - plus poor design (slight wind will blow out flame). This grill was an upgrade from my $99 grill. Will go back to my cheap grill!! If you like to get hot dogs, or other meat charbroiled do not buy this grill!

Char-Broil 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill
I bought it at HD in the box. I was surprised by the well thought out assembly design. Manual was well labeled and almost just pictures clearly showing what fit where., no big bags of screws, etc. All screws were pre-threaded into their holes, so it was just a matter of fitting parts into their slots and tightening. One large screwdriver (Phillips or flat) was all that was needed (maybe also a pliers to tighten the gas nut to the side burner bracket).
*Caution Note- I read a customer review before buying, that complained that the screw holes had paint inside and were difficult to tighten, leading to stripped threads. I did not find this. On mine, I found the screws under the side wings (shelves) had a 'locktite' like substance on them (which is very desirable as that is where you twist the frame if you move the grill around). I had trouble driving the screws home on one side until I realized this. On the other side I drove the screws all the way down, backed them out and tightened on the shelf- no problem.
After comparing reviews on this model and a same priced Brinkman 5 burner, I compared them at HD where the models were stored outside at HD. I went intending to buy the Brinkman, but customer reviews had warned of thinner sheet metal, lower quality coating and quick rusting on the Brinkman, all of which I found on the models stored outside.
Summary: I am very pleased with the exterior finish, fit and well thought out assembly instructions. I've grilled 3x since purchasing. The temp control and low heat settings seem very good. I happy with my choice.

Propane Grass Grill
This product is of average quality - but was on sale and will last a few years... Seems like WEBER grills cost more and last about the same amount of time. Perhaps it is Fl weather... but we don't see a reason to pay for high dollar grills when the cheap ones last about the same time.

it's cheap and is cheaply made
The design is messed up..when closed there is a huge gap that allows air under and on windy day blows out the flame

Great Father's Day Gift!
We had a little problem with one of the ignition wires. We went to our hometown Home Depot to ask questions. They not only answered our questions they replaced the part immediately! The grill was very easy to assemble. It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly. Love It!

Wheels are too flimsy and bend easily. If it's not mobile, it's no good to me! Cooking grate will possibly break if dropped.

Not good
I bought this grill yesterday and for the price range was hoping to have a grill that would last for at least 3 years. I guess I was hoping for too much. After the first use, the lid warped. I grilled 2 burgers and 2 hot dogs and the lid warped. I know my way around a grill after years of working in restaurants and I can't imagine what's going to happen when I actually want to use this extensively. I can't say if this will be the extent of the problems I will have with this grill or if mine is the defective one in the lot. Not even taking the chance..I'll be returning it today.

Nice Grill
I purchased my grill in early spring and am very happy with it. Plenty of grill space, easy to clean and doesn't waste excess gas.

junk
i bought this 3 years ago. it never gets above 300 degrees. i looked it up on line and it says to disconnect the tank and then reconnect. it worked better for a little while after that. but since putting on the new tank this summer it never gets above 300. i have reconnected the tank and not fixing. also igniter died at the beginning for this summer. forget cooking a steak. can't wait to get rid of it.

Nice grill, but low flame
We like everything about the grill except for my concern that the burner flames are not very high. Also, the flame controls do allow for much low-high adjustment. You have to be especially careful when turning the controls when adjusting the flame so as not to shut off. I am not sure if the gas regulator is faulty. No way to troubleshoot this, except to purchase another regulator. I wish I could obtain the email address for Char-Broil to contact them about this issue.

not hot enough
The drip pan is not aligned with the drainage hole so drippings end up on the propane canister rather than in the pan. It takes a long time to heat up to grilling temps, and cools down quickly when food is added. Have used it several times and suddenly the igniter isn't working very well either. Used the side burner for the first time last night and that seemed to work very well. The overall construction is good, it just seems to be a little wimpy on the heating power end.

this is the worst product
I am so disappointed with this product. I had a Weber for 15 years and since it was worn out I thought I would try a Char-Broil due to I thought it was a quality product. Man was I wrong. This unit either gets too hot or won't light and burned up a Prime Rib I had made for a group of friends. Never again will I buy or recommmend this product. I will spend the money and get a tried and true BBQ with a Weber. This really was a let down since I cook outdoors most of the summer. Sorry about my comments.

I apologize that you are running into these heating issues with your grill, however. There are a few troubleshooting steps we recommend when running into this issue.
1. Start with the Tank. How full is the tank? An easy way to check this is to pour a cup of hot/warm water over the tank and see how far up the side it begins to frost. The tank will only frost until the point of where the propane stops.
2. Reset the regulator. Disconnect the regulator from the tank and allow it to dangle for approximately 2 minutes. During this time, check the threading on the tank and on the regulator to make sure it is not damaged and upon reattaching, make sure there is not any cross threading taking place.
3. Perform a bubble test. Take a 50/50 mixture of soap and water and run it along the hose to look for growing bubbles. Regular bubbles will occur, but growing bubbles will show any pinpoint leaks.
4. Check all of your valves. Believe it or not certain spiders are drawn to the smell of propane and will create little nests/webs inside of the valves and/or burners. Take a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol to check and clean the valves (the part that blows the gas into the burners). Take a minute to glance over each one to make sure they are not dented, cracked or damaged in any way.
5. Last but not least, do the same thing to your burners. Take each burner out of your grill and check down the middle of them for any obstructions or damages. The smallest thing will cause the largest blockage of gas. Do NOT use anything plastic or wood to clean out your burners as it could break off and snap. We recommend a paper clip to clean out the portholes where the gas comes through. (if you use a high pressure hose to clean out the burners, please make sure the parts are 100% dry before placing them back inside of your grill)

excellent value
This is by far one of the best grills I have owned and believe me I had alot. I have spent lots of money on expensive models and they rust or supposes to be stainless and still rusted. This is a great grill for the money highly recommended.

Great size, looks sharp!
Owned this grill for about two months and I absolutely love it! It is the perfect size for a couple racks, or a dozen burgers for me and the guys. I've also enjoyed using the side burner to warm up sauces and such!

Love the four burners and side burner.
I got a four burner grill for the first time and love it! Don'y have to use all four if you don't need, saves gas! Cooks great every time! And starts easily every time too!
