American Standard makes Great Products!
Exactly what I needed. Installation was simple and easy. Customer service was awesome! Toilet is more than 20 years old and still works perfectly.

Should only be sold with a wrench to remove the old one and a replacement gasket. I had to cut the old one to get it off, and though I refused the gasket, it didn't look too good and will likely fail in the near future.

Tool to remove nut on bottom of tank not included as shoe on video. Easy to install but the flag washers on the tank bolts may not last long and rank may leak. Old one had washers that served as plugs.

The tank seal probably works well, but I had to return it and buy from another source because the one from Home Depot doesn't include the wrench to remove the old one. Tried a strap wrench, but it was too "slippery," and we didn't have a large enough spanner/monkey wrench. Now that we have the wrench, if we ever have to change it yet again, I'd consider buying this from HD...

My flush stack failed in my wonderful American Standard Champion toilet after 19 years.
My husband found this replacement stack and I am overjoyed. This stack has a much nicer, smoother pull and is quiet compared to the old stack. I am so very pleased.
