I bought this pump in case my basement flood I live near the river.

My first trash pump and boy was I pleasantly surprised. I did my due diligence on reviews and the Champion pump checked off all the boxes I required. Works great! Easy to move too.

This pump starts easy, and primes quickly. So far so good.

Great product, easy assembly, except for green house took some heating up and oiling up and banging one but finally got it and everything works great.

The pump performed very well as it was running. It primed as it should. The plugs in the pump are plastic and that concerns me as to how long they will last. The unit was pretty easy to assemble as it concerns the roll around unit. The engine ran very well. Instruction manual was thorough and easy to follow. There technical support is always helpful. Here is my big issue. The hoses are ridiculously hard to get on the fittings, both the suction and the discharge. I did follow the instructions on how to connect them per the manual that came with the unit. Also, the suction is so stiff you can not use it unless you put a splint on it of some kind. I zip tied mine to an extendable paint handle without something there would have been no way it would have gone to the bottom of the tank as it curls right back up to the shape it was shipped in even with some weight zip tied on the end. Bottom line the unit needs better hoses. I would have given it 5 stars if the hoses were not so difficult to use. I have other champion products that have also served me well and that is actually what encouraged me to buy one of their trash pumps.

We use this product to pump out are truck dock when are main drain is not able to keep up. The pump works great.

Purchased to protect a new furnace against flooding. I haven't used it yet but I am impressed that everything I need is included. Others make you buy hoses separately.

Worked great on a 3-day job. Taking it out again next week to do another.

This pump works amazing. Other pumps never did finish the job. BUT THIS PUMP DIDN'T ONLY FINISH THE JOB. BUT DID IT FASTER THEN IT TOOK ME TO WRITE THIS REVIEW. THANKS

Very easy to use as well as very easy to move. Haven't had an issue yet. I use it frequent to pump out holes and it works very well. As soon as i start its doing its thing right away.

I purchased this product at the end of irrigation season - then I discovered that I won't need to use it until next spring ;)., I did have some questions however and I reached out to their customer service department. They could not have been more helpful. They explained how to determine if the lift elevation on my product would suit my purpose - which luckily it did. I mentioned that I lived at an elevation of >6000 feet and was informed that I would need to replace the jet in my carburetor with a high elevation jet - they mailed me the jet and emailed easy to follow instructions for replacement. I will be updating my review when irrigation season starts up next spring!

Used to pump out a large pool of rain water that accumulated due to a blocked culvert. Very deep and dangerous deep enough for drawing and a sesspool for mosquitoes

Great product- Pumped out my footings for my house in no time: Easy to assemble; good instructions Only complaint- why not have an aluminum cam lock for the discharge line, like the intake line. It comes with a cheesy, cheap, plastic 2" hose barb.

Took a while to figure out how to prime the pump but after that it runs good and pumped the water pretty fast. I like it!

Purchased this pump for Garden use and potential fire suppression, like all Champion products, easy to make ready out of box, easy to start, good run time, easy to maintain!

This is the second champion trash pump I bought. After yet another bad string of storms that flooded my basement and yard I decided to buy a second one to pump things out quickly! Both pump did the job and working great!

Once assembled and put together the item work great. Had a huge amount of difficulty installing the aluminum cam lock fitting on the rigid intake suction hose. Had to boil a pot of water and even with dish soap as recommended it still was a major fight. When your basement is flooding and you want to use this pump new out of box this was the last thing I wanted to do. If it was pre installed from factory would be a huge help!

We have had an extreme an. mount of this past month. Our yard was flooded and I needed something to move alot of water. This pump fit the bill perfectly, even used to pump out School parking lot down the street.

This is an update. We had to use this to pump this past July when it the crazy amounts of H2O that had fallen in less than a 24 hour period - 260 mm. The two electric sumps could not handle the runoff. I had to throttle it at first when I got it going as the water had already overwhelmed the existing setup. Once the water receded in the cistern I brought back the throttle to idle and it kept the water out over night and into the following afternoon. I purchased extra suction and discharge hose, and bought quick connects to fast and easy set up. The only issue I have is the suction and discharge hose are at the same angle on the unit. Hard to sometimes set up the discharge hose so it doesn't kink. I am sure it is engineered this way for a reason. Thank you Champion. This pump kit is handy and a dandy.

This 2 trash pump worked great for pumping out an old septic tank. It was throwing poop out like crazy. Thanks.

Using on a construction site to back flush flow through piping. The pump has to be moved around a lot and is a good weight and the wheels make for easy handling. Came with all the parts needed to go straight to work. Pleased with purchase.

The pump seems to be working fine, everything that came with the pump seems to be of decent quality. My only real complaint about this pump is that it does not come with the 10W30 oil needed for the initial fire up. Otherwise she is chugging along, thanks

Pump worked well to drain flooded basement, but difficult to fit the camlock fitting to the suction hose. Soaking in boiling water, using soap, and brute force needed. We were in a hurry, so this was frustrating. So, assemble and test everything well in advance of needing it!

WE USE THE WATER PUMP TO BE PREPARED FOR WILDFIRES

Working great so far to the pump water from our spring to a new 1 acre lake we had dug a year ago.We are in a drought and lake level was getting low and purchased this pump to keep the fish alive. Running 2-3 hours per day.

Bought this Trash pump over a week ago. Our well was empty and needed water from our canal. I had another pump but it was working well. So decided to get a new one. We checked the reviews and this Champion model seem to satisfy quite a few people. Well, it was pretty easy to assemble using the manual that came with it. It also came with a lot of the parts such as the hoses necessary to operate it and other necessary parts. It started like a charm right away. We used it for a few days to fill our well and the surrounding catchment around the well. This actually encouraged us in buying a Champion generator for our house.

Great pump we use it for filling and topping up our pool ,sure beats calling a water truck
