I bought it this sensor in for the first 4 months was great but I noticed stop working every time is raining until I notice it was leaking water inside, they need a good rubber seal to prevent the water go inside , it's a great product but need more qualify in seal the sensor because is expose to outside.

Purchased two additional sensors for my existing system to monitor my adjacent lot. Both sensors required some tree pruning and brush clearing but are now working great.

We love the units we bought years ago. We wanted to expand the system on our farm. So disappointed that you no longer sell them.

I have had mine for aprox.12 years (4 sensors) and am just now having a little problem, I dont know if it is me or them! LOL (changing batteries has been the issue) I'm 75 years old and sometime it takes me to long to get the batteries reloaded! Thank you Chamberlain for such a good product...

We have 5 base units with 6 units linked to each one. Have been using these for about 20 years. Use them for my pets, for my parents security, and also for our security alerts. They have been wonderful. We have had no problems. Wanted to add more units and have learned they are discontinued. Very disappointed. We are not looking for these new gadgets. They are not the same quality equipment that you sold us years ago and that we continue to use today.

This is my second one i’ve owned! They are a quality item, hold up well in inclement weather also! The batteries last a long time between changes as well! I would recommend these for anyone who has a long driveway!

I've had this monitor for years and still love it. We have two sensors along our driveway so we can tell when someone is coming up to the house. A couple years ago I had to replace one of the sensors because it was damaged by another tree falling during a hurricane, but other than that, everything is still going strong.

Great product while it works. Tech support/contact forms/the review form are all centered around garage doors making it difficult to navigate the required multiple choice questions. Tried emailing an address I had communicated with a c while back and didn't hear anything until fifty days later I got an automated message from a representative wanting me to rate our interaction. Have tried to post a review twice and both times moderators said they appreciated the feedback but couldn't post my review... They didn't even bother to reach out to me privately about any of it, just censored me and carried on. I was not rude, sarcastic, vulgar, or anything like that; simply tried share the facts of my experience with the product and with support. Hopefully the moderators let me post this review and then someone reaches out to offer to help me with my issue or at the very least apologize for the extremely inappropriate message asking me to rate the interaction when there had not actually been any interaction.

This will be the second time the sensor only lasted for 1 year, just after warranty. I don't think they are waterproof. It worked great for a year both times. I can't believe the replacements are this much for junk.

I have had this for over 5 years and just replaced the batteries for the second time. I have a long driveway and the sensor is about 800 feet from the receiver and works great,

I first used the dark green sensors. They lasted for years. Eventually they ended up getting water damage and corrosion. They payed for themselves at the point where they expired. I have since tried the newer beigh sensors and base stations. The sensors do not last. The base station on the first replacement crapped out right away. I repurchased another base and a few sensors. Poor results. I bought again because the first system was very acceptable. I went with two bases and 8 sensors. One base died practically right away. The second base has lasted for a few years now. Most sensors are no longer working. They flash like they are working but they are not working. They won't program. They don't show water damage but they need replacing. Pricy. Time to look around and maybe get the warranty. No. Get warranty.

i have bought these several times. they work really well..the batteries last a long time in these.. i luv the fact that each module has a distinct beep...

how do you re-number the buzzer sound on the CWPIR alert drive way sensor? when replacing a sensor. It appears it takes the next number in sequence I have 2, 3, 4, 5 buzzer sequence and we replaced sensor 4 and now it has a 6 buzzer sound I want it to have 4 buzzer sounds.

The audible alarm can't be heard more than 4-5 feet away... It is totally useless and nothing more than junk! I should have read all the negative reviews for this device before making my purchase...

This newer type is not at all compatable with the older green one that was much better in my opnion. The older green set had the ability to add a 10a bell or light when the alarm went off. The new system is so low we can not hear it most of the time.

Love this product. We have several properties and use these for driveway warnings. Have noticed they do not last long, the outside unit light goes on but stops pairing ultimately not working anymore. Even warrantied replaced units have same experience.

We have had our unit for many years and it is still working great. We are currently adding more units. I really like this motion alert system.

We've used this for several years now in all sorts of new england weather to alert on a cat waiting outside the sliding glass door. Mounted it on a small plastic table 2-3 foot range from where the cats sit. Works great. We did have to play with the range and sensitivity switches for a bit to get it right.

I have only had the driveway alert for a few weeks. We have a 1000 foot driveway and it's nice to be alerted when company arrives. My only complaint is false alerts. i may have to turn down the sensitivity. I don't know if an animal or bird is tripping it.

I've had two of these units since I opened my home business in 2010. Unit number 3 is junk. The Duracell batteries aren't even lasting 60 days before they are dead. I went to the Chamberlain website and they don't even provide support for this item. Discouraged :(

At first I was real pleased with this product. However, it stopped working so I was changing the batteries in it this week and noticed a wire had come un-soldered to the main board in the inside. No wonder it only has a one year warranty.

The systems works well except the base unit is not loud enough to be heard throughout the 2 story house. Suggest that multiple bases be available for one sensor so they could be distributed to different areas in the house or remove garage, etc.

The first one i bought lasted a long time. When it started acting up i ordered a new one. It did not last very long and it just lasted long enough for warranty to expire.

This sensor works very well. I am pleased that it does not give false alarms with direct sunlight or temperature changes.

Good product, fair price. Distance that it transmits is great. I have the older model that makes more of a buzz noise. I have purchased a newer model for my employer. it makes more of a beep or door entry chime noise. can the "buzz" noise model be obtained? I see that multiple sensors can be added and notified with a different sound. is it possible to change the sound for the single sensor?

The system functioned well, however the sensors are not very water resistant. Both sensors were destroyed by moisture. I feel sensors are overpriced for the cost of a new system. I did enjoy it while it lasted.

I have tried multiple sensors from chamberlain & recently the last two only lasted about 3 months. In the beginning they lasted a lot longer, I believe that the quality has deteriorated considerably!

Like others my first failed due to water intrusion. Its a great concept but the design is so bad. I had to fight them to honor the warranty and modified the casing mysekf to make this one last. Its a nice idea but this product sucks.

I have had this system installed since Oct of 2014 with multiple remote sensors. It works well when properly setup. I only get about a year out of the batteries in the remote sensors regardless of the battery manufacture. I have had 3 of the CWPIR sensors Item # 001C7127 fail during this time period. I will be replacing this system with a more reliable product.

These units are more expensive but I figured they'd last. I bought a unit and the range was great, instalation was easy, but the battery life on an average driveway was no where near 2 years, maybe 6 months of light driveway use (about 4 activations a day). But I could get past that if it was durable. Unfortunately it hasn't been. Lately it beeps to indicate low battery with a few weeks of getting fresh Duracell Procell batteries. I changed them out and same problem. Went to change them this time and now it won't even turn back on with brand new batteries. Sounds like an electrical problem to me. I was disappointed by the durability. Had it lasted I would have expanded from 3 sensors to 6 or 7 for the farm, but can't trust them now. I was also looking at driveway gate openers but will have to do more research to see if durability is a problem with those chamberlain products too.
