It's copper wire and meets the needs of landscape lighting perfectly. Not sure I can say anything more.

High quality wire, when separating two wires insulation remains intact around each wire as it should.

Used to enhance my back yard landscaping lights. On account I used 18 low voltage lights, the 12/2 wire was ample voltage wire to accommodate 180 feet of lighting. Very pleased with the results.

I bought 4 rolls of Cerrowire 500 ft. 12/2 Black Stranded Landscape Lighting Wire for an outdoor project. I hired a professional to install low voltage LED light bulbs around the periphery of my house and around the trees. The wires were easy to manage and have great durability. The electrician has been using them for a long time and has seen these last decades, without corrosion. I searched several websites for 500 feet long wire, this was the best deal in terms of price and quality. Highly recommended.
