The canopy was exactly what I needed to install over my basement door to deflect the rain. The instructions were easy to follow and the design allows for a good range of flexibility. The framing seems sturdy and we’ll see how the roof does over time & through the winter snow.

Since I’m a widow, I hired someone to put this up for me so I can’t comment on how easy or difficult it was to install. I can say that they were impressed with it and said I made a great choice. I purchased a home last year with a crumbling self-made flagstone patio with no cover. So this year I decided to tackle the backyard. I love this patio cover. I think it looks great, and it’s very sturdy. We had a severe storm right after it was installed. It weathered the storm beautifully. I couldn’t be more pleased.

The patio cover was built very well and went together easily. It takes some time but it looks great. Only concern is how flimsy the panels are. The whole kit is very sturdy aluminum but the panels are pretty thin. We will see how they hold up. I would still recommend it.

The canopy was fairly easy to assemble. We did have to make adjustments because it was installed under an eave. Two of the panels had some damage. It looks like they were stepped on and the corrugated ridges were compressed.

Took us a couple days of work. It takes 2 people, could have used 3. A word of advice, take the extra square screws and put them down the center channel to use for hanging brackets. Hand tighten all bolts. Use of a drill with a socket will bend metal around the legs. The paint will also inevitably scratch as you assemble. Krylon Chalky Finish Anvil Gray is an exact match of paint. The deck I put down was a deck tile from a Blue/Yellow box store. Perfect color match.

Product beat expectations. We purchased this to replace the retractable awning on our camper as we are setup on a permant campground. Easy instructions and great quality. Two other people at the campground purchased after seeing ours

Easy to assemble, one person can finished it in a day. Two person is much easier and faster.

We got the 10x10 for our small back deck area. Package arrived almost 2 weeks earlier than projected delivery date. My 60 year old mom and I started assembling between 9 and 10 am and finished cleaning everything up around 4:30 pm. (I’m like 120 lbs, and she’s 5 ft nothing...) It was just the two of us, and we pulled it off in a reasonable day’s work. Assembly was pretty straightforward despite a couple annoying drill bit sizes I didn’t have (13/32”). Sized down one and it worked just fine. We’re very pleased with the finished look, especially after putting the caps over the bolts. I did read some reviews that said the gutter isn’t designed very well. It hasn’t rained yet so we can’t speak to that, but we do love the look of it. The color almost perfectly matches our door colors. For the price, we’re very happy. The panels do feel a bit flimsy on their own, but once installed I think they will do fine.

Package came sooner than projected date. Fits and looks great. We attached it over our deck. Very sturdy and well built. Saved us over half the cost of what it would have been had we had a roof built. Very impressed with this awning/roof. Highly recommend.

Awesome design, easy to install. One full day. Looks brilliant and changes the whole deck appearance and living space. Extremely well engineered. Would recommend buying a few feet wider then deck for overhang looks and protection. Highly recommend product.

We had planned to build a roof over our deck but the city said no due to zoning issues. They said there wasn't any issue installing this awning though without a permit. We are actually glad it worked out like it did because we love our awning! It let's just enough light through but still provides shade. Gutter system isn't the best but good enough. We did have to install it lower than recommended due to not enough room below our roof line but i think it looks great and i think we still have enough slope for the amount of snow we get. Glad we snagged one of these while they were in stock! Home depot had the best price too.

Overall I’m very happy with deciding to purchase this patio cover. It looks way better than the pergola that was in my deck and provides a lot more rain protection than the tarp I was using. Pros: Nice looking Well engineered and fabricated- pieces all lined up perfectly. Well labeled-picture instructions clear enough. Cost-four times less than a custom one from a local contractor. Cons: Even with 85% filtering the deck heats up a bit; it’s better than being out in the sun but not like being under a big shade tree. Makes a bit of noise when it expands and contracts, like a popping sound. Rain gutter-don’t seem adequate and one spot overflowed. I may have overtightened the nut in that spot so will adjust and see how the next heavy rain does.

I used it as an attached carport. DYI installed with my friend. Took 6 hours. We drilled in the driveway. Overall it is good value. Installed in Massachusetts so hope it hold fine with the snow and wind..

The instructions were a little hard to follow and the wall mounting system uses metric fasteners so the masonry bit for the anchor was not readily available. The gutter system overflows on the back side during rain. All in all I like the patio cover and would recommend it. We spent about 7 hours installing about half of that time was spent anchoring it to the brick wall.

This patio cover was exactly what we were looking for. It is great that the support legs are semi-adjustable. We needed to be able to place one of the legs almost two feet from the edge in order to be able to anchor to the concrete. It is relatively easy to install. The instructions are pretty clear(for only having pictures to follow). It is nice that the sun is not completely blocked so we get light without the heat from the sun. We now have a comfortable patio to enjoy!

It looks really nice and somewhat east to assemble for the do it yourselfer. It took about a full afternoon. The most work is anchoring it to the house. The one thing I don’t understand is its anchored to the house with large bolts but the actual roof cross beams are held in place with 5 tiny pressure grip screws at the house end. It would be wise to keep a schedule of constant maintenance to assure the screws dont loosen from wind vibration. I just feel the screws should have gone thru holes in the part that was anchored to the house, for peace of mind. I just don’t trust the design at that end. If I see it loosening I plan to drill holes and use different screws, I don’t want the roof on my head. I love the fact that it protects the door without blocking light in the room. I looks nicer than the old style aluminum roof as well, more modern. I feel it was quit expensive, but if it lasts and remains structurally sound in the northeast winters, I will be happy with no regrets.

The directions for assembly were put together buy someone who never actually assembled anything with directions. For example the gutter assembly page is backwards, top picture shows the gutter with part number. Then shows assembly of the gutter. Then and this is the good part, then it shows you to reverse the gutter before assembly. That’s awesome because once you get is sealed and assembled it now shows you to reverse the gutter pieces. One word idiots!

It’s really nice quality. The one thing it doesn’t have down spouts off the gutter.

My husband and I are handy and in our 60's we installed this in 4.5 hrs. Get directions. I waited for a serious snow storm before my review and ours has been up for about 6 months. No leaks and very attractive. 31" s of snow in two days. I did sweep it down after the first 20" fell in about 10 hrs. The panels did bow down a little bit. So please with this canopy all the way around! Love it!!!

I like It looks pretty and bright, only two things I need to complain, one is the gutter can’t get the raining water completely and can’t find downspouts to fit , please the company improves

I bought this last Sept but just got around to putting it above my deck area the early April. Those top bars come in 2 different styles - 7708 (L shape) intended to be end pieces and 7707 (T shape) intended to be middle pieces. This is so the panels can slide into them securely. Once I was putting my last bar across the top, I noticed I was missing a middle bar and had an extra end bar. Hopefully the company will send me the part I need because I don't want to take down what I already have up.

Instructions are terrible when combining 2 Patio covers. Definitely 3 person job. Good product, very happy.
