Nothing exceptional about this item. Its function is adequate. A no frills item Easy to install.

It blows air inward as well as outward. I had to stick a doct tape on the front of it just to keep the air from blowing inward.

At 42” wide, it’s one of the few inexpensive, yet very nice looking hoods. Fan noise on high is relatively loud, but for the price I’m really impressed.

Its was easy to instal and it came with the internal wall vent flap, which was a surprise. It also had a vent cover option, which allows you to choose of you want air blowing back in.

Great price and good range hood with optional vent outlet. Easy to install. Just needs screws with washers. (not included)

It does take two to install it, but it's quiet and just lovely,it finished off my kitchen perfect. The only problem was getting the old vent pipe lined up with the opening of the vent.

Easy to install, we were able to use the existing anchor placement. We love the Black Stainless Steel look, that was the last piece of appliance, to finish out our kitchen, with Black Stainless Steel, it looks great with our off white cabinets.

Got the range vent hood delivered to our house a month ago it arrived in good condition and the black stainless matched our new Samsung range and fridge pretty well. Installation was pretty straight forward and not very hard. Their mounting holes didn’t work for our cabinets so we drilled 4 new holes around the edge and were able to mount it easily after that. Wiring was easy just 2 wires and a ground. We also got the ventless filter that has to be ordered separately and it just slides into place no problem. The reason for the average on the value is because it is basically the same as the white or black Broan vent hood but costs quite a bit more than the the other 2

Had originally bought a nicer more expensive range hood but found out it was deeper than our cabinets were.(Our cabinets are 12” deep and the range hood was 14” deep) I guess today’s cabinets are 14” deep??? So returned it and decided on this hood to meet my depth requirements. It looks nice and goes great with our LG stainless steel appliances. My only complaint is that the fan is really loud when on the high setting. Not used often so not a big deal. I would say it’s a good buy.

Bought this as a gift for our landlady, she had a range hood that was put in when the house was built. you couldn't even hear the fan let alone have it pull air/smoke out. matches all of her appliances now. she was so pleased. It was extremely easy to install.

Fit perfectly in the slot of the old one with only simple measuring skills required. I did however pay a professional to install it, but it took him less than 1 hour at a rate of about $60. It was on the cheaper end of the options I found but I think it's a quality unit and it looks like one. I'm pleased.

First the bad which really isn't serious enough to call bad. Just FYI and possible take notes to the manufacture. 1..the vent was really short and didn't reach the true vent cover to the outside therefore leaving an open gap in the wall for unwanted smell or smoke to linger. The vent should be made longer with breakaway perfirasion's to size accordingly. Original duct did not slip over the lip of vent plate and had to fabricate a solution. 2..the obvious. Openings to the outside invite unwanted BUGS. This can be solved by possibly installing a new/upgraded vent cover. .true. However, for the money it costs it would be nice to have a screen made into the venting plate to help aliminate the possibility of unwanted pests. Change the vent cover and you have double the protection. 3..upper ready made screw holes need to be supported with thicker metal. In all the range hood went up fine and holds tight. Just wish it didn't bow when tightening the screws. The good, The stainless looks great. Fan and light works fanatic with more lighting on range. It's a great simple addition to upgrade with a new range for right at a hundred bucks. The fit was good. Once the venting issue was solved it all went right in and up. Simple tightening of screws, easy wiring and it was done.

This range hood was easy to install. Color was perfect to match my range and price was great. It's not as thick as the NuTone it replaced allowing higher clearance above the stovetop.

I found it fits perfectly, was easy to install, and is a good value for the cost. If you are looking for a good 30 inch range hood for a low price this is one.

Looks good and we love the slim profile. Thrifty emergency replacement for our older Broan top of the line model. Installation was straight-forward and the two speed fan seems to do the job just fine. The single grease filter seems a bit flimsy--will most likely require frequent maintenance / replacement. Good choice for the short term.

Good so far!

It is quite nice looking and fit where my old one was. I did not realize my house was very old and therefore had the fan wired directly to electricity whereas the new hoods expect there to be a plug. So I spent more getting it installed than I paid for it, but it is definitely an addition to my house.

The hood was just right for my range yes I would recommend it looks great over my range

Simplicity look and the light is so nice to have a nice stove. I cant say anything of longevity as it is new to me.

It's a good product at a great price. Easy to install. It's versatile in terms of venting, has top, rear or can be used as ventless with a charcoal filter. The only reason I'm using it as ventless is because the top vent is made for a 7 in. vent and mine is 4 in. and couldn't find a reducer in the size I need. I don't want to run a new vent, but if I ever do, I can still use this range hood. Would recommend for updating a kitchen as I did. Looks and functions great!!

Easy installation great product

It looks very nice over my stove. The lighting is great, however, the fan on high speed is very noisy. The fan is cheaply made of plastic. A little disappointing!!

Super easy to install, stylish for what you get to look at, fan not load but not quite either ... put this in our rental home so will see how long it last...seems like it’s made pretty well to stand some usage.

Just as described, beautiful! Directions were some what easy to follow, but with the help of a video online I was able to attach it with the vent with no problems.
