The connection to the existing ductwork was difficult because of the size outflow on the fan. A variable size opening would have been better than the seven inch opening that came with it. No one uses that size opening for range hood fans

The edges on the 2 front corners were not sodered together leaving a small gap,might gave to try a screw which will probably show,so not sure how to fix yet

Does it work? Yes. Is it cheaply made? Yes. Don't expect much more for the price point, but I wouldn't purchase it again.

Replaced an older Braun hood vent, was exactly the same...
Replaced an older Braun hood vent, was exactly the same size, fit perfect and was good quality. Packaging was great ,no dents or scratches.
