Straightforward installation where we previously just had a light. This light is much brighter (2 CFLs). I opted to not hook up the night light as I didn’t want to run more wire to the switch. Don’t forget to buy a vent if you don’t already have one.

We purchased this fan/light for our shower reno and are very satisfied with its performance. It runs very quietly. Be certain to tell your electrician to wire the fan and light separately so they can be operated independently.

Louder than the normal fan but still quiet. This is what i wanted.

Easy to retrofit in place of the 2nd "Homewerx" LED/Bluetooth fan that failed! This fan seems to move a little more air, and the intake grill won't rust like the "Homewerx" ones did. Since the Braun/Nutone takes standard wiring and switches, I was able to use a countdown timer switch to automatically turn off the fan.

easy install, very quiet

Only had it a couple of weeks but so far I am very satisfied with how's it working. Very quiet as well.

The exhaust fan description says that it has LED lights. It does not, they are Compact Florescent. I have contacted Home Depot to correct the web site description. The description on the box is correct. I will be returning this fan

Quiet and effective.

Replaced an existing fan on first floor, so no option to access from an attic. I cut the sheetrock to the larger dimensions of the new fan, but since there was a 2x4 block installed between the joist to attach the old fan I did not have the luxury of pushing the new housing into the ceiling and sliding back above the sheetrock in order to attach the outlet tube. No choice but to install outlet tube first, then angle/shoehorn the housing into the hole. This will require cutting the sheetrock opening about 2 1/2” bigger than the housing in one direction. I cut the opening to the absolute minimum needed to get the housing (with outlet tube attached) in place so I could secure it to the joist by centering the housing on the now oversized hole in the sheetrock, reach through the outlet tube to connect the duct work and finish the install. IF YOU HAVE TO DO IT THIS WAY it is impossible to cut the hole small enough for the cover/light to hide the cut edge of the sheetrock on one side. So today it’s back to Home Depot to find some kind of decent trim and close that gap. Happy with the fan performance and it’s not too loud. We have an open shower with just a couple of 3/4 walls with an opening to step through, so the steam is not “contained” in a shower so to speak for the fan to pick it up. My install was also capped off with a couple of beers.

Nice unit. More than twice the volume of the old unit. Pretty easy to install.

Very quiet. Only disappointed with the fact that it did not come with the night light bulb

Bought to replace existing exhaust fan. Great purchase. 130 CFM is perfect to remove moisture and bathroom no longer fogs during a hot shower.

This fan is amazing. No more moisture in our 5X10 bathroom. The lighting is supurb, the fan is smooth and quiet and it really moves the air. Replacing our old 50cfm fan to this 130cfm model was a great investment. Get as much CFM as you can afford.

This is a big fan and pulls a lot of moisture out but for it's size it is very quiet.

This is a nice fan/light and it was pretty easy to install. This was my first time doing an installation myself and I was able to get it done in a reasonable amount of time. It's quieter than the last fan we had but you still know it's on. The packaging/ads say it's 1.5 sones, but that's if you have it vented to a 6-inch tube. I have it vented to a 4-inch tube and the packaging says that will be 2.0. Seems about right. Does a great job pulling the air out of our bathroom which is 100 SF with an 8-foot ceiling.

Directions are not clear. My existing wall switches offer green white black and red wires. Your fan requires additional wiring.

Replaced a contractor-grade 80 CFM unit. Really made a difference in minimizing humidity on the bathroom walls. Mirror stays clear when we shower. Surprisingly quiet!

My fan is plastic. After running for a while it will warp and Rup up against house creating a noise.
