Fan is super quiet, one reason why I replaced my other one.
Reason for a 3 star is that I was hoping that it would move more air than my older model.

Solves the problem for powder rooms with no access to outside ducting. Easy install and looks and works great. Note : is not suitable for rooms with high humidity, such as showers etc.

Used in a small bath that cannot be vented. Purchased this model because it uses a charcoal filter and neatly replace the 30 yr old fan that was in the bath. It is fairly quiet, but doesn't seem to move much air, so I don't know how effective it will be at removing odor.

this was an easy install and works great. comes with one black wire, one white wire. i just bought a small roll of cable to extend the wires and connected them to the same colored wires in the bathroom light, shutting breaker of course, and connected ground. so works on one switch.

Thank you for your comment on the model 682NT. This is a non-ducted fan and does not exhaust air to the outside. It recirculates the air through a filter and then back into the room. This type of unit is ideal for a powder room or closet, but not for a bathroom with a tub or shower enclosure. This is a ductless exhaust fan and doesn’t do much but make noise. Unfortunately I needed one in my condo bathroom to pass code other wise I wouldn’t have purchased it.

We appreciate your feedback on the model 682NT non-ducted fan. This fan would not be recommend for use in a room with a shower as it does not exhaust the moisture and humidity to the outside. This model recirculates the air through a charcoal filter and then back into the room. It would be perfect for a powder room or closet, but not a room with a shower or tub. I used the exhaust fan to remove the smoke and odor when cleaning our wall oven. It is not mounted anywhere. I just place it on a low stool and plug it in. It removes about 70% of the smoke and odor.

There were limited options for a charcoal filter bathroom fan so I just took a chance on this one...
There were limited options for a charcoal filter bathroom fan so I just took a chance on this one. It has light, cheap plastic and does not sound like a smooth fan. Sounds cheap and seems to be built cheap. Maybe there will be more quality options in the next few years? It does seem to function ok as far as deodorizing the room.

Broken on opening.
Metal hangers for securing faceplate to base are attached to faceplate by plastic clips. On one side, those clips were broken, and fell out of the box on opening. I secured the faceplate to the ceiling using two screws. Also, fan motor is tiny and does not seem to be very effective. In my opinion, a poorly designed product and basically a waste of money and time.
