1/4 turn valve replaced old plastic one, no problems

Easy to turn off water supply under sink. The old one needed to be replaced. This one is much better. Glad I made the purchase.

Any time I replace a faucet or toilet or do remodeling, I always replace the old-fashioned water shutoff valve with a 1/4 turn valve. The old-fashioned ones usually leak when turned off because of calcium buildup, whereas these don't. Plus, it's much easier to turn this valve 1/4 turn than it is to screw the older valves shut, especially since the valve is often located in a difficult to reach place, like inside a vanity. This valve installed easily and works great! I highly recommend it.

No washers - truly a paragon among valves. Should be cheaper though
