Amazing! Used this bit to drill a dozen or so pilot holes in 10" thick, 10-yr old poured, reinforced concrete foundation walls to prep for cutting window and ventilation holes. It powered through each hold in under 2 minutes, about 3 when I hit rebar - pricey but worth the cost, simply amazing.

It gets the job done

It is very good

The bit cut the 20 year old concrete very fast . It is capable of drilling thru rebar but I didn’t hit any yet. Good product and so is my newer Bosch hammer drill I bought at Homedepot.

Product worked as expected. Drilled holes cleanly and quickly in cement and mortar.

Used the bit to drill 8" deep hole through concrete. Moved the dust out of the hole really fast. Drilled the hole in about 3 minutes. Great!

This is one tough bit that drills thru concrete with little to no real effort & gets it done in short order. I've used other smaller diameter Bosch carbide rotary bits for years & their holding up well to whatever I need to drill into. I had a project where I needed to drill to many 1 1/2" holes to count into solid concrete. Before commencing, I scanned concrete surface to ensure there wasn't any re-bar where the holes needed to be (this isn't meant to drill thru steel). While drilling the 1st hole, I was pleasantly surprised with just how fast I was able to drill 4" by just letting my SDS-Max hammer drill combined with this bit to do their thing. Needless to say all the holes were drilled in less than 1/2 the time I had allotted which allowing me to complete project in 1 day VS 2. The bit showed very little wear & tear, so I know it should last my lifetime, just like my other Bosch bits.

The drill was excellent. Good quality steel, went into weathered masonry like a knife through butter. Using a powered drill (Makita) it did everything needed, and drilled the reqired number of holes, over several days. After this use, it was used on ceramic tile for pipes for a shower unit and was still sharp and effective. A really good Drill bit.
