This bit does fairly well for drilling hard stone (granite boulders) for inserting 3/4 inch wedges for splitting. Use a rotary hammer and let the bit do the work. I was lucky to get about 40 holes around 5 to 6 inches deep before the tip totally failed. After about 30 the side cutters start to break off. Keep an eye on the bit and be sure to remove any broken sections with a magnet to be able to get a few more holes. I usually run two bits to give one a chance to cool when needing to drill 8 plus holes in a stone. It gets a bit pricey when you are drilling hundreds of holes. I have a lot of granite boulders I split and shape into square/rectangles for solid stone walls.

It worked out great. Was able to core holes in existing concrete for some dowels. Did about 15 holes in a short period of time.

The tool stopped working

Exactly what I needed.

We used it with a Bosch drill. Seemed simple just had issues to get it to engage in the drill itself. The bit itself goes through concrete fast! On a project of dill 5 inch depth holes and have done almost 500 holes and it’s still cuts through!

Fast sharp drill, but it didn't last as long as I'd have expected it to. Less than 20 holes drilled and the tip busted off. You might ask how was it used? It was used as intended to drill a large rock using a SDS hammer.

With the drill bit and an SDS-max hammer drill I had my 1 1/2" hole through my concrete filled cinder block wall in a few minutes. Great product.
