I used this tool to remove a 5-1/2" solid wood light post. I bolted a wood cleat to the side of the post, placed the lifting tongue of the jack beneath the cleat, and removed the post in just 5 minutes. The post weighed about 100 lbs., sopping wet and rotting, with 50 lbs of concrete attached to the bottom. The jack lever is about 4 feet long so all lifting jobs are easier. This tool is well designed and massively built.

The jack shipped from Canada, and arrived in Rowsell, GA in 5 days. Had it for over a month now. The jack is heavy duty. Makes pulling fence posts easy, and is useful for pulling stumps too. Have used it to lift a loaded and sagging lumber rack (very heavy) on my barn to repair the foundation, and it worked well. One reviewer mentioned that it won't jack down, and at first that seemed to be the case. But it will jack down when it's loaded. When jacking down, be careful, keep a firm grip on the handle, and don't get between the handle and jack. Also it will stand up on it's own on a level surface, but for storage I recommend that you secure it so it won't fall over if it gets bumped.

We used medium chain. Chain broke from torque. Use ONLY heavy chain to remove bush stumps. Cut a long 2X4 in half. See YouTube tutorial. Jack definitely helps removing bush stumps.

I purchased the Jack to pull small stumps out of my yard. So far I have pulled 3 stumps.

Having it delivered to my home was a plus. It is heavy but I have not had to use it yet!! <:O)

Great tool to lift machines on one side or front to back. Sturdy, easy to use and takes little storage space.

As I was not required to do any assembling of my Big Red 60 inch Farm Jack, allowing me to immediately put it to work. I was able to accomplish the projects that I had planned, the farm jack was extremely easy to use and to put into operation.

Quality made for the price

I had just purchased the jack to remove a "T" post fence later this summer. THANKFULLY I had it when our garage door spring violently broke one night, trapping my wife's vehicle inside. The door company said it would be a WEEK before they could respond !! Weighing in excess of 175 lbs. there was no way for me to dead-lift the door overhead into the horizontal portion of the tracks above my head. I happened to remember the shiny, new jack in the outbuilding. The jack raised it the full 5 feet putting 2 of the 4 door panels into the horizontal portion of the track, cutting its dead weight by half. I was able to raise the remainder into the horizontal position while standing on a ladder and then remove the vehicle out of the garage. I was then able to bring the door back down to the raised jack level to safely inch it back closed w/o a violent fall, keeping the garage secure. You'll never know when a jack like this will come in handy. This one saved my butt when I needed help so worth every penny in my view. FYI: Read the directions thoroughly. The jack foot will fall uncontrollably to the bottom of the bar when there is less than 100 lbs. of resistance on it. Plan for that if you are lowering a load after jacking up.

Good product for the money spent. Only thing I recommend is changing the little spring clips that hold the handle in place with cotter pins to prevent loss. Very useful item for different tasks.

Itpulled the post out like butter

Works as expected. Showed up with the packaging completely destroyed. Luckily the actual jack withstood the abuse. The box and hexacomb pads should be completely redesigned by their supplier to avoid the terrible first impression. It was not the fault of the delivery system, bad packout design.

This is one heck of a jack for the money. It will undoubtedly outlive me. It weighs 30 pounds, no kidding. The first thing I did was remove the cross piece at the top- it was right at eye level, and dangerous. Then I put a rope handle through a hole at the bottom. Without the rope, there is no way to grab the thing to lift it up. And if you grab the handle, the handle slides up while you are trying to lift it. Very awkward. But the jack works like a charm. VERY sturdy, well-built. Pulls a T post in just a few strokes.

The Farm Jack was purchased to remove a tree stump in my front yard. The tool was perfect and took less time and easier than expected.

Bent handle first use. Action is very halting. I don’t recommend this at all.

We used this jack to reset two docks. It was so easy! Great, sturdy tool!

Only had the Jack for 2 weeks when the handle broke off the Jack. What I was jacking up was no where near 6000 lbs. Poor quality.
