The jack was missing the shear pin when it arrived. Tried to contact the Torin company three times without a response. Contacted Home Depot and they were able to get in touch with the Torin company. The shear pin wasn't in stock and a replacement jack was backordered. We purchased another jack from a different company instead.

I've used it three times to lift a roughly 1000lbs and it has never lowered properly. I've lubed the pins and cleaned the bar but it either locks up and won't descend or it drops without warning.

Easy to use. A little heavy, but certainly sturdy! Works perfectly for chore I bought it for.

Works great, only thing was box was barely held together and pin that hold bas on was bent, but after repair, works as expected

Jack does okay, except when letting it down the jack releases all of a sudden.

Would have given an excellent rating because of how well it worked for my application (pulling up lilac stump) but the 60" long main beam is twisted about 10 deg. and if used for lifting say a truck at its bumper it could cause the weight to shift (maybe) any way it worked well for me - Thanks

This jack worked well for removing post out of the ground.

it doesn't work at down way, it just fall down.

I bought this jack to remove a fence post. Worked perfectly except I broke the top jaw by not paying attention. Now i just need to find a replacement. I would reccomend this jack to anyone. Just make sure to be more observant

The quality of this unit seems excellent. I’ve only used it one for a minor lift, nothing near its capacity. That said, these jacks have the nickname of “widow maker” for a reason. They can be highly unstable. Use with caution.

The Big Red jack is much better in quality and price than other farm jacks. The handle is longer for better leverage. And it has a top arm, so it can be used as a giant heavy duty clamp. I'm well pleased with the one I purchased!

Bought a Hi-Lift jack and it was total garbage. Over hyped. This jack is much better so far.

strong , dependable , simple to use

On the first stump the I beam bent on the jack giving me less confidence on the others. Mind you they were not very big stumps to remove.

We bought it to help with removing the boats and the hoist from the lake for the season.It worked perfect! I would highly recommend this product for whatever your needs are.

This high jack works really well. Our only complaint is that that clip that holds the crank bar fell off the first day we used it. We did manage to put the clip back on.

Pulled T-posts with ease.

The jack is well constructed and easy to use. I purchased it to lift the beam of a boat dock. Using the jack the dock was lifted and leveled allowing the support posts to be attached.

Looks great but haven’t put it into action as of yet. Dismantling a deck and chain link fence this and it’s little 48” brother are going to be used to pull posts set in concrete after the demolition.

Worked great once I got it figured out. The jack jammed on me. I had to take it apart to see how it worked. One of the lift pins had rotated. The lift pins (locking to the main shaft) have a rod that passes through them and a cam pushes them in and out. The rods can move and let the pins rotate

Decent farm jack

Very good deal for this price. Incorporates both lower and upper points for connections which increases usefulness. I use for everything, sometimes in tandem, for boats, trucks, golf carts, etc.
